Angels’ Share is an architect designed contemporary cottage over looking Knock Bay and the ruins of Knock Castle. There is spacious accommodation for two people, with room for two children or two “small adults” on a sofa bed. The cottage is situated on the Sleat peninsula known as the Garden of Skye. The cottage is not far from from the Skye Bridge and the mainland ferry ports. It makes a great base for exploring the whole of Skye's beautiful scenery.
“We had an amazing stay at Angels Share. John and Mhairi were excellent hosts who gave us complete space and privacy to enjoy their accommodation but we knew they were right there if we needed them, and we didn’t! Angels Share has all you could want or need and more, it’s packed with thoughtful and homely touches, providing everything to connect you with the modern world but also everything to occupy you if you want to disconnect - the best of both worlds! We have already been recommending Angels to friends and family and would recommend it to everyone. We can’t wait to return.”
Wake to the morning call of Invercaimbe's resident Curlews and fall asleep after witnessing one of Arisaig's spectacular sunsets. Perched directly above the beach, Invercaimbe Croft House is a tastefully decorated, traditional croft house perfectly suited to both families and couples alike.
“We spent two weeks in the accommodation. It was just wonderful. The house is so great right on the beach and the space at the kitchen window is just a dream. It does not matter if the weather is dry and sunny, or the rain is whipping. You are protected behind the window and it feels almost like being outside. Pamela and her niece Paula were very friendly and helpful and responded promptly when we needed something. With the dog we could make beautiful beach walks directly from the house. The rooms are very nicely decorated and in the evening we heated the fireplace. It is really cozy there and the location is just spectacular. Pamela welcomed us with a basket of bread, wine and snacks and everywhere in the rooms there were fresh flowers in vases.”
Here we have a small basic pod for two guests,WC at side of main house for sole use of guests.. It is preferable you have your own sleeping bags , but these can be provided on request . Accommodation is on a working Croft by the sea and shore along with donkeys , sheep ,hens and various other pets. The area is ideal for walks, birdwatching and exploring the countryside. There is a pub, shop ,tearoom and restaurant about three miles away .There is no shower facility.
“My second stay here and, again, it was great. The pod is a fantastic space, nice and warm with all you need for a cosy experience including pillows, kettle, tea, coffee and a fridge inside. There is a microwave for cooking with plates and cutlery provided in the utility room of the main house which is very convenient. The constant farm activities and animals wandering around in the adjacent fields is great. The view from the seating area to the front of the pod is spectacular across the hills and the sandy bay in front. Catherine Ann is a great host who will give you all the advice you need and is just nice to chat with. All in all, will definitely be back for a third visit in future and highly recommend a stay.”
