Family-friendly vacation rentals in Montreal

My friends and I ended up staying at Mr. Hung’s lovely condo. It’s so beautiful and bright, and in walking distance of quite a few restaurants, and activities to do. It’s a beautiful part of Montreal. My friends and I loved the apartment and it was great for a larger group. We went for my birthday and I ended up engaged too! We will definitely be revisiting this condo!

My stay at Martine and Michel was perfect, location, tranquility, quick reponse when needed, accurate description and information.

We had a lovely stay. Downtown and many things were accessible without being right in the city. Monk Street was nearby and has many shops and places to eat. Fugazzi Pizza and a Crêperie are around the corner. The backyard was accessible which was nice for our kids. The decor was beautiful and vintage. The TV was already setup for Netflix and such. We really enjoyed our stay. Parking for one vehicle was included, and we had no trouble finding street parking for a second car. Kristina is so lovely and took great care of us! We would definitely recommend and hope to return next year.

Very nice digs, perfectly faithful to the photos on the site. Bed was comfortable, and the two sofas were perfect to chill out at the end of the day. The apartment was on a small residential street, and very quiet.

Henry is a great host! This is our third year in a row staying @ Henry’s. Every time we come he makes us feel at home. The place is always pristine and Henry is always on top of everything (very attentive, helpful and responsive). We cannot recommend this place enough. The location is perfect, just blocks away from everything you need (supermarket, restaurants, cafes, parks, etc.) We will certainly be back next year! Thank you Henry for contributing to yet another wonderful family vacation.

Lovely walk up. Fully equipped kitchen if needed. Close to the Bell Centre and a variety of great restaurants and other businesses/attractions. Appreciated the private parking spot off the street. The occupants above us were a little noisy but eventually settled down. With comfy bedrooms below the main floor, the noise from above was more than manageable. Patty was very quick to respond to any of our queries. We would highly recommend Patty’s place and hope to return.

We spend a weekend in Montréal during a winter with lots of snow. It was great place, quiet with nice parking spot. Everything was very clean, linens are cotton which is super good whem you have issues with sensitive skin. Kitchen is nicely equipped, host is very welcoming and helpful if you need anything. In case you get stucked indoor due to bad weather, their book collection will keep you busy. They have a binder for the guests about grocery shopping around and other useful information. Biodom is around 12 minutes by car. I would definitely come back if we are in Montréal again.

This is my second time staying at Citlali and family’s Airbnb. I returned because it was wonderful the first time, and in an area I wanted to be close to family and friends. It’s clean, cozy, quiet, well-equipped, comfortable, close to public transport: in short, excellent all round. Maria and Guillermo are welcoming and friendly. This is a great place to stay.

This apartment was the perfect size for 4 people, in a very central spot of Montreal! We loved staying here and will definitely come back and recommend to all our friends! Very easy to find, check in and out, and extremely clean.

We had a great stay at the apartment. The location on the Plateau was amazing, and the place was spacious and very clean. Marvin and his team were super responsive and were able to accommodate an early check-in which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

Exceeded my expectations. The place is meticulously clean, well-supplied, with a beautiful bathroom and very peaceful and comfortable bedroom. It’s a great oasis to come home to after busy days in the city. Neighborhood is great—excellent food, grocery right across the street, great bars to meet people in the evenings. Norm was a great host—communicated with me seamlessly every step of the way and made sure everything ran smoothly. The apartment guide left absolutely nothing to chance. Just a great experience all around.

This funky old house was awesome for our Montreal weekend! We had a large group of 9 adults, kids, and teens, and this house was big enough to house everyone comfortably -- lots of bedrooms and beds. (Also a great place for several spirited rounds of hide and seek!) There was plenty of space for everyone to hang out together, but also everyone had private areas to retreat to for introvert time. Comfy beds, too! There are lots of shops, restaurants, and transit options located within easy walking distance. We parked in a hotel parking lot nearby and spent $40 for the weekend. Linda was responsive and very helpful. A great host and a great stay! Thanks Linda!

The apartment was exactly what we needed for our trip to Montreal. Having a private space to park our car was a game changer and the home was very well maintained and clean.

The house worked out great for us. Close to the Bell center and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We were a large group so it was nice that we could all have our own room.

spacious, well-equipped, accurate description. You feel good in this property. The accommodation is far from the center but this does not cause any problem, there is a bus 160 meters away that passes about every quarter of an hour it takes you to the Honoré Beaugrand metro which is 2km500 away which allows you to visit Montreal as you wish, other buses serve the city. This place can be booked without any hassle.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Montreal and Seb’s place was perfect for what we needed. The location in the old city is perfect for walking to endless restaurants and bars. Uber found us pretty well, even with street work going on. The washed/dryer was a great addition. We highly recommend!

Franco’s place is a great place to lay your head. It was exactly as described. The neighbourhood is fabulous with loads of coffee shops and restaurants. Franco was also very accommodating when I requested a late checkout.

Arthur was nice and communicated well during our stay. His apartment is described accurately and it was a comfortable stay. The place was clean and tidy. We felt ok coming and going from the apartment but the 2-3 blocks right around the apartment made us a little nervous and we were careful to avoid certain streets. There is a "lockbox" described for keys but Arthur met us at check in and check out to exchange keys (there was not a lockbox option). Also, the place states that smoking is allowed, so anyone that is sensitive to smoke should take note. We didn't smoke, and there was somehow smoke in the apartment sometimes, perhaps coming in from outside (we did not tell the host - it was mild and we didn't feel the need to bring it up). Overall, Arthur is a great host and really seems to want to people to have a good stay.

Adam’s apartment was the perfect place for us to find our footing in Montreal. Great neighbourhood with good access to shops, restaurants and buses to the Metro. He was super responsive & proactive. Definitely recommended for long stays!

Combo like the description: clean and very well located. We had no issues during our stay and Fiorella took care to contact us several times to make sure we didn't need anything. We recommend it.

What a truly beautiful, soothing, restorative space Pierre and Martyna have created! So warm and inviting for anyone visiting Montreal to feel comfortable and at home. Their spacious apartment is thoughtfully designed with three extremely comfortable bedrooms, an amazing, spa-like bathroom, and an airy, open kitchen/dining/living area which was just perfect for 4 friends and our dog. It was such a delight to wake up in the morning and sit and have our coffee while bathed by the light of their huge windows looking out into a private garden backyard complete with golden-leaved trees and two neighborhood cats. We loved walking down the streets and alleys of Little Italy, taking in Montreal daily life, viewing all kinds of street art and murals, and shopping at the Marche Jean-Talon which is close by. Even though located on a busy street, their home is exceptionally quiet. We can't express enough how its loveliness and charm enhanced our total Montreal experience. Thank you for sharing!

We had a wonderful stay, it felt like we were home and we weren't quite ready to leave at the end. During our stay there was a huge storm, loss of power and some flooding in the basement. The person they use to oversee the property was super quick to respond and very helpful and took care of the situation immediately. Genevieve was also in touch the whole time. Communication was fantastic, the location is amazing, close to great restaurants (walking distance), a nearby bike path by the water we used to take my kid to his day camp. Lots of playgrounds close by for all ages. So all and all a great stay!
