Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Montalegre

We have spent two nights alli and Super well. The bedrooms double bed and with TV in all. The main bathroom very well and with a bathtub, the one in the room with shower, smaller but does its service. The living room with fireplace and also with TV and dining table. The kitchen with several appliances: washing machine, oven and dishwasher, in addition to microwave and some other mini appliance. The house looks smaller but upon entering is very spacious. José the host is very attentive and communicative if you have any questions. Very quiet area. We have been with family and with our dogs and we will definitely repeat if José accepts us! Thank you very much José and good luck! We'll be back!

The house is very comfortable and Catarina is very helpful and friendly. The village is very quiet, in the middle of the mountains and the neighbors a friendliness. The river beach that Catarina indicates is well worth it.

We have returned to the Cold Source House. Our experience is quite good, in addition to the house having everything necessary for a good stay, the outdoor enclosed space is an asset to be rested with our b*****s. Hosts are extremely available and I highlight the factor of having invested in more heating for the home to make experience more enjoyable on the cold winter nights. Let's go back!

The place is extremely pleasant and calm, quite close to some cultural and natural points of interest (such as Montalegre, Natural Park of Gerês, .....) The house has good conditions for large families. Rui and his father are great hosts. Thank you so much for trusting us with your home.

The house is very functional! the bathrooms in each room, a real plus! the large kitchen also with a table big enough for us to all have dinner together. On the ground floor and 1st with shutters closed, the house remained cool despite the heavy outdoor heat. the only flaw in the house is the absence of an outdoor living space, a shame in summer! It is 1h-1h30 from the main waterfalls/hikes of Geres. But Carla had advised us one 10 min from the house. Carla and her daughter were responsive and very kind. They stopped by to let us know about parties/concerts nearby.

A little slice of Heaven! The views of the lake are beautiful. The house is very clean. Don’t hesitate to book the house if it is available! The owner is sooo nice and responsive. We will be coming back, as it is a one of a kind place.

I had the opportunity to stay at Souto's place and I can say it was one of my best experiences as a guest. The host was just amazing, always available and attentive, worried about ensuring that we had a comfortable and problem-free stay. The house itself is very welcoming and has all the amenities we needed. I would definitely recommend staying at this home and hope I can do it again in the future.

When we arrived at the property we immediately felt relaxed and at peace - the view is simply incredible ! The outside terrace is big with beautiful views and plenty of seating, a BBQ, heated lamps etc. Inside is spacious - a good kitchen, a lovely record player, lots of sofas. The location is great - you are so close to so many amazing outdoor activities - we really enjoyed exploring the rivers, mountain walks and the Lagoons ! Many thanks !

Paulo really has a very cozy stay with great views and a prime location. Our stay was very good, it is a perfect house to spend a few relaxing days between friends and family with very good access to an area that is really worth visiting.

Wonderful stay at Casa da Formiga thanks to Marilia and its good work. We had to move the dates of the reservation and it did not put us any hits, always ready to solve any queries or questions very quickly and with the best willingness. We could even delay the departure time to enjoy the sunny day. The house is spectacular, even better than in the pictures. Extremely tidy and clean, it is tremendously comfortable and cozy. It doesn't lack anything. We loved having breakfast and eating with the gorgeous views at the Gerés every day. Marilia, thank you so much for everything. We will repeat without hesitation!

The house was with an immaculate cleaning, the conditions of the house correspond to the description, provided a fully equipped kitchen with food items for the first day, which was incredible since the nearest hypermarket was 20km away. Spacious room allowing an emotional family conviviality. The accesses are a little complicated for people with limited mobility but for young people there will be no problems. I would like to mention and recommend the river beach of Ermal, most visited by us and very close to this space. Very friendly and welcoming host, not failing to show up to welcome us and to say goodbye to us. A great Haja.

Amélia and Joa were really great hosts!! We arrived much later than expected and they were very accommodating. We got greeted with freshly picked strawberries and a warm welcoming smile. We will definitely go back!!

It was an excellent stay in a place very according to the place and the environment in which it is encoded. The accommodation was very welcoming and despite its simplicity, it counts with all the basic amenities.

For those looking for a calm and relaxing space, this is without any doubts the place to choose! The only noise is that of the small stream and the animals, which transports us to a time when life passed more slowly and in a more natural way. As for the hostess, not only was she very responsive and super flexible with the schedules, but she also presented us with a thoughtful gesture, worthy of a 5 star hotel! Regarding space, it was extremely neat and very smelling! Highly recommend and hope to return soon.

Pitões das Junias is a magical village. On each walk you will see new things, meet special people, or happen something you don't expect. On the edge of that village, with a fantastic view, lies the shelter. The bed was the least comfortable bed we ever had in an AirBnB. (Fortunately, that will change soon, Luis said.) But the location makes up for it. This hideaway in Pitões is a special place, a fantastic base for long walks in the area and nice musings about the things that go by.
