We stayed between April and May, the location is perfect for visiting the whole center, the host was available for precise directions and helpful tips for getting started in the city. The place was spacious and clean, great for a base during a few days of sightseeing. We never used the kitchen. Despite being downtown, the area was quite peaceful.

Hidden heaven, close to beach and cool strolls. We loved our stay here. Our hosts were gracious, helpful and have created a perfect oasis from which to enjoy Mondello, explore Palermo and chill by the pool. Spotless place, comfy bed, great setup. Even a book of local recommendations (we ate at several of her suggestions!). The beach is a 9 min walk thru safe neighborhoods, and maybe the #1 Beach we have ever been on - our version of perfect. We only had 3 nights here and wished we had stayed a week! Great hosts, wonderful home.

“We were guests in Lavinia's apartment in Palermo and we were very satisfied. The location is perfect, in the heart of the center, and the apartment retains all the typical Palermo characteristics, with original finishes and attention to the smallest details. The bed is comfortable and the balconies overlook the picturesque streets of the center. We really appreciated the quality of the apartment and the availability of Lavinia, who was always ready to respond to our every need. We highly recommend this accommodation for an authentic experience in Palermo!"

House of the Genius at Vucciria

Dario’s apartment is located on the doorstep of the busy Vucciria market. It is about a 5 minute walk from the Quattro Canti. There are many markets, cafes, restaurants and bars around. The train station is a 15 minute walk away. The apartment is well equipped especially the kitchen. The wifi and air conditioning work great. The apartment felt safe and has sound proofed windows. Dario and his friend Valentina were incredibly warm and welcoming hosts. Communication with both of them was prompt and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. The host provided bottled water, Sicilian biscuits, plenty of recommendations for local things to do and places to eat and even ear plugs in case the busy street nearby would disturb us. I would recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to visit Palermo.

I recommend to everyone Romualdo's place. It feels like home. Good points: very spacious apartment, very well equipped, located in a beautiful building, in the center of Palermo giving the possibility to do almost everything on foot, comfortable bedding, and a very friendly host with flexible schedules on arrival and departure, very accommodating for us! Only negative: the neighborhood is noisy, but with earplugs the nights went very well:) Thank you again Romualdo for your welcome. If we come back to Palermo, we will definitely be coming back to your place.

Tamara is a lovely and accommodating host. The house was extremely clean and in a beautiful location. Balestrate is a charming town perfect for a relaxing vacation. We had 11 guests and we all had plenty of space to fit comfortably. Located near plenty of markets and restaurants with a beautiful view of the water and mountains!

This airbnb has a beautiful view and great location. The photos really don't lie. There is noise from the streets that can get loud but therefore it's very central with lots of big windows. The host proactively gave easy to follow instructions. There is free public parking next to the building, but it's not guarantied to get a spot. Probably one of the very best airbnbs that I have visited so far.

The house was beautiful and Irene was incredibly helpful in all aspects. There were homemade treats left for us in the house upon arrival, which were truly delicious. She was quick to respond with any questions we had and went out of her way to assist us. Overall a wonderful experience, and a beautiful setting.

Simple but beautiful place on the outskirts of Palermo. Small beach, bakery and a few bars in the immediate vicinity. Bus stop with connection to downtown or to Mondello right outside the door. Stefano is very nice and hospitable!

We had an amazing stay at the villa ! The photos didn’t do the villa justice, the view was 10x more stunning in person! The villa was well equipped and was an amazing place to stay ! You did need a car to get to the lovely village up the road it was about a 10minute drive but we didn’t find this to be a problem at all 😁 would very much recommend this villa ! Staff were very friendly and gave us lots of local information and recommendations. It was like something out of a TV show it was so spotless ! And the pool was a very nice size 😁

Roberto is a very welcoming host, he is very responsive and gave us some great recommendations in the area. He even brought us breakfast twice. The house has an unobstructed view of the sea with private access without sand space to settle in but with a small concrete terrace. We also enjoyed the outdoor terrace which is sheltered from the wind and where we spent very pleasant evenings. We had a good week in Sicily and the location very close to the airport (15 min) was a plus. The cities of Trapani, Palermo, Mondello, Segeste are easily accessible within 1 hour and Cefalu at 1h20.

A spacious hallway leads to an elegant bedroom with a comfortable bed adorned with soft linens. Exposed brick walls highlight the unique architecture, complemented by decorative furnishings. Natural light filters through large windows, illuminating the intricate patterned floor tiles.

Unfortunately, the stay was only short. For one night. We were only the third guests and felt very comfortable. The apartment is super nice, great and extremely clean. We all got our money's worth and it was really exactly as shown in the pictures. The location is great. It couldn't be better. Gabriele was always available and responded immediately. If I come back to Palermo, we'll see each other again. 🙏

The apartment is in a great location, with a Cafe at ground level and close to many restaurants and shops. It's a central Palermo location in a nice neighborhood with easy transit access to old Palermo, the beach at Mondeal, train to the airport, etc. We walked to old Palermo, 15-20 minutes as it's a great strolling city. The apartment is nicely decorated and private. One set of stairs and a new elevator when you need it. All the amenities were there, very relaxing place. Francesco welcomed us on arrival to ensure we were ok with the place and to offer local recommendations. He is very warm, enthusiastic and genuine. Nice to have someone to help with our first trip to Palermo.

We are a family of 5 and had a nice time! Especially the contact with Peppino was very nice! We got lots of helpful tips and he was always available for us. The place was as described. Very nice pool area! Car hire is required for shopping and restaurant visits.
