Fantastic 3 weeks at Francesco`s beautiful apartment - superbly located on Isola Ortigia, an absoultely spectacular place. Lively even during winter and a number of sights (Neapolis is a must!). Went to the food market for fish and greens and made dinner at home every other day or so. Otherwise a number of very good restaurants within a 500m radius. Breakfast and lunches on the spectacular terrase, short/t-shirt at least half the days (when in the sun) even during winter. Francesco was very helpful when we needed some minor assistance with heating and dishwasher. The heating system was the best I have every come across in Italy - water heated radiators, not only the usual A/C. All in ll - spotless!

Marcella ist sehr freundlich und zurückhaltend - wenn man sie braucht, ist die da, sie wohnt gleich nebenan. Die Lage der Wohnung ist wunderbar - man ist gleich in der Innenstadt und wir haben sogar in der Nähe immer einen kostenlosen Parkplatz gefunden. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und das Haus hat Charme. Die orangefarbene Wand im Wohnzimmer ist jetzt lindgrün. Den Blick vom Balkon auf den Hafen haben wir sehr genossen.

We had the most amazing stay at 'Flying Whales'. It was super easy to find and Leandro's mum, Rosy gave us great instructions for our arrival. She also left us some wine and goodies which was super thoughtful🥰 and even checked in with us by text during the holiday to check all was good. We absolutely loved our stay from start to finish and the icing on the cake is the amazing roof terrace with spectacular views. It's an amazing place to stay, right in the heart of beautiful Ortigia and we were sad to leave, but hoping to come and stay at your lovely apartment again.

Ottima posizione, zona tranquilla, vicina a ortigia

Het appartement ligt vlak bij zee en kijkt uit op een prachtige binnentuin. Ideaal rustpunt om bij te komen van het drukke stadsleven van Siracusa. Appartement zeer schoon en goed om te verblijven voor meerdere dagen. Host reageert snel en alert op eventuele vragen of opmerkingen. Kotom dit verblijf is zeer aan te bevelen.

L’esperienza è stata perfetta , Angelo è stato amichevole e molto disponibile, l’alloggio era perfetto , ristrutturato , fornito di tutto per un soggiorno piacevole e comodo ,il giardino è curatissimo , la terrazza splendida soprattutto in questo periodo dell’anno. Perfetto per visitare questa zona della Sicilia.

We have spent 3 nights in Salvatore’s lovely apartment. Salvatore is a fantastic host—kind and helpful in every way. He even offered to pick us up at the train station, since we had chosen not to rent a car. The apartment is perfectly located within walking distance to everything. From the balcony, there is a view of the sea and the top of the old town of Othiglia. The apartment is beautiful, clean, and simple, with a nice kitchen. It has all the facilities you need for a successful stay. The tap water isn’t drinkable, but it's fine for cooking. Just across the road, there’s a water dispenser where you can get free water. There is a charge if you want cold water. There are also plenty of bus stops nearby. Salvatore had placed a bottle of good Italian red wine and some delicious pastries for us upon arrival. We can only highly recommend Salvatore’s apartment, and we look forward to returning. Grethe and James from Denmark.

Nous avons passé deux nuits dans ce logement pour visiter les environs. Tout s’est très bien passé que ce soit l’accueil ou le logement en lui-même qui correspondait parfaitement à la description. Nous recommandons sans hésiter des familles avec enfants souhaitant un peu de calme tout en étant à proximité des sites à visiter.

Appartamento spazioso ed arredato con gusto, pulito ed ordinato. Antonio sempre pronto a rispondere in qualsiasi momento, con garbo ed educazione. Unica pecca, il fatto che non sia perfettamente centrale, poiché un po' fuori da Ortigia; ad ogni modo, è abbastanza vicino da potercisi muovere a piedi senza alcun problema. Il prezzo è ottimo, assolutamente conveniente! In generale, è stata un'ottima esperienza.

Pros: - Convenient parking (don't know what it's like in summer) - Good location, not far from Ortigia, but far enough to avoid any disturbance - Fast wifi - All required amenities - Clean & comfy - A/C was efficient to heat the interior when needed (our visit happen to be in Feb) Cons: - A bit acoustic; we could hear steps and even small noises from above, not anybody's fault, it's just how this building is constructed - Bedrooms have windows opening to a tiny internal courtyard or stairwell - but as we use them for sleeping only, doesn't matter

Very spacious apartment (we were 4 people), and only a 20 minute walk to Ortigia. Although we only stayed for 1 night we enjoyed our stay and had a good communication with Annalisa. Would definitely recommend.

Mi sono trovata talmente bene da ritornaci per altre due volte. Con questo soggiorno sono al terzo. E se ci saranno altre occasioni sarà sempre la prima scelta.

Nulla da dire, appartamento molto accogliente, curato, pulito e confortevole. Scicli stupisce per la sua bellezza ed eleganza, negozi aperti anche di sera...da visitare! Host molto gentili e disponibili. Ci ritornerei volentieri!

Casa impeccabile, vale tutte le 5 stelle. Anche se abbiamo avuto qualche problemino con l’acqua calda Vincenzo è sempre stato presente e ci ha aiutato senza problemi. Ordine, pulizia e chiarezza. Inoltre Vincenzo è simpaticissimo. Ci torneremo di sicuro!

Le logement est propore, conforme au descriptif et aux photos. La chambre est grande et le lit est confortable. Il est très proche d'Ortigia à pied et du marché quotidien pour faire les courses et pas loin de la gare routière et ferroviaire pour vous déplacer vers Catane, Noto, Raguse etc. il est calme ce qui est bien pour se reposer la nuit. Pour ceux qui ont l'habitude de dormir dans le noir complet pensez à prendre un masque il n'y a pas de volet et l'éclairage public est présent. Fabio est très réactif aux messages et très sympathique. L'arrivée se fait facilement et en toute autonomie. Rien ne nous a manqué, nous avons passé un très bon séjour et recommandons ce logement.

Great location with a beautiful pool and lots of sunlight due to the orientation of the property. The parking is secure behind a gate, and it’s especially convenient if your car has decent ground clearance. The check-in process was smooth and easy, even without the owner present. Although the host's English isn't perfect, he is very friendly and communication was never an issue. The single usable floor is nicely furnished, and it was a lovely touch to have olive oil, vinegar, and salt available in the kitchen. The Wi-Fi worked well, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. There's also a good BBQ grill for outdoor cooking. Overall, we enjoyed the stay, and the peaceful rural area with a sunny pool was a highlight. A few improvements in the kitchen and minor fixes could make the experience even better, but the positives definitely outweighed the small details.

This place was absolutely amazing. Definitely experienced some depression upon checking out the space was so great. More than enough room for everyone to spread out. Will visit again… and again!

Avons passé un très bon séjour de plusieurs nuits dans l'appartement du 2ème étage dans cette maison au calme entourée d un grand oasis de verdure et avec une belle et grande piscine. Transats à disposition. L'hôtesse est toujours reactive et sa famille discrète. Si vous êtes une-e lève tard n'oubliez pas un masque car les rideaux occultants ne le sont pas vraiment et il n y a pas de volets. L'appartement du 1er étage semble avoir une terrasse plus grande, en tout cas avec vue sur piscine. Sa 2ème chambre a une vraie fenêtre et non des veluxes comme au 2ème étage.

Slaapkamers zijn rustig en donker dus zelfs de kinderen hebben hier heerlijk uitgeslapen! Het is een ontspannen plek, met een mooi zwembad en een groot terras om te ontbijten. Dankjewel Davide!

Our stay at Jo and Davide‘s place was more than amazing! This place is beautiful with everything you need! We stayed with three girls for our first visit to Sicily! It was the perfect location to explore the south of the island. Must see‘s are Scicli, Ragusa, Noto and much more! The hosts shared a lot of tips! Our highlight was the pool with the stunning view! We want to highlight that the place is even more beautiful than on the pictures! Thanks Jo and Davide! We will for sure come back!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Giovanna et Antonio. Tout était parfait. Ce sont des gens très accueillants et très réactifs qui sont à vos petits soins et qui sont de très bons conseils. Le logement est très propre et moderne. Il est également très bien équipé. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. Les extérieurs sont magnifiques avec une belle piscine. C'est un petit coin de paradis, nos 2 enfants étaient ravis. La plage se situe a 5 minutes à pied mais une voiture est indispensable pour visiter la belle région. Allez y les yeux fermés! Très bon prix pour la qualité.
