Family-friendly vacation rentals in Mitterberg

Thanks to Susanne for this great place! We felt great cared for. The house is very nicely prepared and the sauna and outdoor hot tube were perfect! The view from the balcony is a dream! We will be happy to come back.

A great place to stay! We stayed there with 5 people for a relaxing weekend and felt very comfortable. The apartment was just as described and very clean!! The jacuzzi, the steam showers and the view from the balcony are of course a great luxury. There are a few beautiful lakes and hikes in the area. All in all great and we would like to come again. :)

Christoph and Marlene were very helpful and responsive for any questions we had. I was surprised to see that there was an option to provide breakfasts and other amenities. Overall I would highly recommend this stay for anyone who wants a peaceful experience, beautiful views, and helpful hosts.

Stefan was very kind, we could call him any time when we had some problame. He tried to help us solving problames. The appartment has a perfect view for the mountains, it was in a good location. I can only recommend this appartment to everybody

Really great place to stay

We had a great weekend at Villa Traunseeblick. Herta, our host, graciously accepted our last minute booking. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed and had an amazing outdoor space to relax and enjoy views of the lake. It was very comfortable and just what we needed. The apartment is within walking distance to trails, the lake, town and the cable car. We had a wonderful time! Thanks Herta

We stayed as a family for 6 days over Christmas in Joep's vacation home. We enjoyed it very much. The location to the Kreischberg is very good and also the fact that we were able to bring our two dogs was great. The house is very clairaudient, which, however, did not bother us as a family. A hot tub on the terrace would be nice. We had such a nice time too.

a definite rustic stay in the amazing mountains with an incredible view. If you have kids bring art supplies, educational tablet, as their is no tv. which is not a huge deal, but nice to unwind after a hectic day of adventure in the mountains. Very attentive and lovely, and their is a great restaurant right up the road! Except the bare minimum as far as supplies, so bring your own if you're driving ❤️

We spent 4 days at Marius's house and were very comfortable. The house is very clean, very organized and Marius is very attentive to our doubts. The very nice and quiet area, perfect to be with children and pets!! I hope to be back on a new occasion!!

Very nice place to stay. The location is perfect if you like it a little quieter. If there were any questions, they were answered super quickly. We felt very comfortable. All in all just perfect.

We stayed at Martina's apartment for about 2 weeks and felt completely comfortable. A slightly earlier check-in was even possible at short notice! There was nothing missing in the apartment. The kitchen was equipped down to the last detail. Abtenau is a half hour walk. Larger places can also be reached quickly by car. Very suitable for both snow and hiking activities. We can recommend the apartment to everyone. We would come back.

Our third stay in this house and we love it every time. Very cosy place with accommodating owner. We will be back.

Renate was the perfect host - very friendly and helpful and made good communication before I arrived. Her accommodation is an ideal base to explore the area- perfect for skiing but also for summer walking. Close to all amenities- shops, ski storage, bus etc. I was apprehensive it would be noisy but it was very peaceful, lovely to be close to the river. I would stay here again and recommend it.

We had a lovely visit at Marias place. Very clean appartment with all equitment you need. And Maria was very helpfull and Quick in answering messeges.

We were very satisfied. Accommodation in a quiet place. The owner is friendly and very nice. I recommend 🙂

We arrived in with six people for a ski holiday. We liked the house very much; on the sunny side of the valley, with many animals on the farm (dog, cats, calves, cows,...), very nice hosts (even a better cheese grater was bought, as we wanted to make cheese salads) and a cozy atmosphere (underfloor heating and lots of wood). Anytime again! Next time we would probably bring small bedside lamps for the extra coziness:) The sauna was also a special highlight. Warm recommendation.

I was personally welcomed by Gerlinde in a very friendly manner. The accommodation has everything you need and is very nicely located in nature. by bus, you can reach the accommodation from Salzburg Central Station in about 45 minutes. Thalgau town center is less than a kilometer away where you can get everything. i left earlier because of the weather forecast (heavy rain) but still felt very comfortable. i'd love to come back!

Our family of 5 met with my brother's family of 5 here in Kuchl for a week holiday. Daniela's home was very nice. Plenty of space, nice outdoor area, everything the kids could want for fun. Our kids ranged from 1.5 yrs to 12. unfortunately the weather was rainy and colder than we expected, but we still had a great time. we visited Salzburg, the salt mine, thermal baths, and on sunny days enjoyed hiking and toboggan. supermarket 5 minutes away. kitchen had everything we needed, and the kids enjoyed feeding the chickens, ducks, and cats. We'd recommend it to others especially with kids.

We had a great week at the apartment Bergkristall - the apartment was very clean, well equipped and the view is great. The hosts were super nice and we'd love to come back :-)

We enjoyed the whole family staying in a beautiful place. Our 2 year old son who loved the animals on the farm the most. Thomas was very friendly and even allowed him to go to the bunnies, set things up for toasting, and was available when we needed anything. Perfect for families with kids. Possibility of swimming in the pool, toasting and available playground, toys, pool and trampoline at any time. Toys are also present in the apartment. The kitchen is 100% equipped. The location is perfect for various activities - swimming in the lakes, cycling, hiking. We'd love to come back again. The hosts even sent us a forgotten charge home. Thank you!

Alois was super responsive right from the start and very friendly. I was provided with very precise and comprehensive instructions on how to get to the place and what would be available. When I had some questions prior to my visit, I received comprehensive and clear responses quickly. The place is great for a ski trip to the nearby ski locations. It is a bit of a drive to Schladming for example, but it's worth the extra drive to have a place that is peaceful and not crowded. I would stay in this place again next time. Thank you for a great stay and friendly and clear communication.

Wonderful location and good views from Rosemarie’s apartment. Everything in Strobl is easily within walking distance of her AirBnB. Check-in was easy and I’d recommend using your smartphone light to help find and enter the code for the key box (it’s in the underground garage). Entrance to her apartment will require navigating up many stairs but you are rewarded with a wonderful view of the local Parrish church and the mountains. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well equipped…she has two very large balconies (bedroom & living room) which is nice. We were informed early on that some of the doors leading to the balconies were in need of repair and could not be used…the main door to the large south facing balcony. There is an onsite person who can be contacted to help open the very large sliding glass door in the living room. All in all a very wonderful place to stay in the Salzkammergut…lots to do and see. I highly recommend staying here!
