Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Missouri River Township

Shonda's listing was in a great location for us which was an easy commute to where we needed to be and from/to the airport. It's a quiet neighborhood too. The house had enough space for our party of 2. We would choose this location again if we go back to the area.

The owner went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. We were celebrating a birthday and she had birthday decorations and treats all over the house. We will definitely stay there again

Great stay while visiting family in metro St. Louis. Place was spacious, clean and comfortable. Host was very accommodating with pack and play, high chair and giving late check out. Will return if in the area again.

It’s not often I get to take a crew of five guys on the road and get each of them A KING SIZE BED! Jackie was so responsive and amazing helping me work through my scheduling logistics because of a work change last minute. I really appreciate her immediate responses and kind gestures like getting fire wood set aside for us or dropping off an extra change of sheets when one guy left and another one came. It’s not often such an amazing place is also so friendly to dogs. 🐕 We were really lucky. I’ve already booked it for another work trip and looking forward to it.

Location was great and felt very safe. Street parking was completely fine and all cars were safe. The back yard was great for dogs or kids. The house covered all the basics. The beds were really comfortable. Plenty of soap, shampoo, etc. in the large bathroom. Biggest complaint was lack of closet space. We certainly made do and it’s not a deal breaker but the bedroom that sleeps up to 4 has no closet and only one chest to sit luggage on. There’s also not much space to sit things on like charging stations for electronics on both sides of the beds, etc. The house isn’t “homey” per se since it’s a full time rental, but it is still very comfortable and extremely clean. The host is the most responsive host I’ve ever had and was very proactive letting us know about guests checking in and did help a ton when the upstairs neighbors were so loud we couldn’t sleep in. It’s an older home which explains the noise, and there are signs reminding everyone to please be polite and quiet which is nice.

Our family loved staying here. We would stay again. The host was so helpful and kind!

Thomas was a great host & very responsive during our stay. Plenty of street parking available. The property was centrally located with easy access to local eateries and the freeway. Downtown was about a 7 minute drive.

What a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. We were thrilled to interact with the animals so freely and appreciated Cathy taking time to tell us the backstory of each of them. Cathy and Bert provided excellent hospitality and even went above and beyond with providing regular weather updates during a wild storm. We will definitely return.

Great home with a lot of character. Updates are well done. Some freeway noise, but not overwhelming. Overall a great place and we enjoyed out stay.

We sold our house so fast that our new home wasn't finished. We came back from a month in Florida and was looking for a place near our new build. This place was perfect. We loved the setup. Loved the location near to downtown shops and restaurants. With a full kitchen on the very cold days we could just stay in and cook a pot of soup.

Awesome place to stay. Forest park was just up the road along with plenty of food options around. In the Italian side of town so if you like good Italian there's a spot no matter what direction you drive. Host were great. The wind picked up a bit and they provided a light if the lights went off. Hospital was better than any you would get at a hotel.

This was our second time staying at Ron's place and I can't say enough good things about it. Comfortable, affordable, walkable, safe. It really is a home away from home. This is where my partner and I stayed when we first met in person four years ago and now we're married and expecting our first. So maybe it's a good luck charm too! We'd come back every anniversary if we could.

Great place, easy to access, clean and well furnished. Would happily stay there again. Check out the great coffee shop round the corner.

The place was awesome. The beds are great. Very good communication. If you need to be in the area I highly recommend.
