Beautiful place on the water with a nice terrace. It's lovely to wake up to see the sunrise on the water from the bed.

Airbnb perfectly matches the description, beautifully located, the house is secluded and the landscape beautiful… My only regret: not having booked longer in this haven of peace

We had a great time at Evaristo's place. The house is very nice, spacious . The open kitchen from the top is amazing with great views. The house is lovely. We recommend it.

We stayed with Paulo and his wife in their house organized to host several people. Paulo was super reactive, he came to pick us up from the airport and gave us a tour of the city. The day we wanted to leave Mindelo, there was no minibus running so he also dropped us in the village we were staying next. In short he is really nice, helpful and very resourceful when it comes to local adresses!! His place is nice, simple and comfortable. The terrace is super cool and gives you a nice view over Mindelo! It’s 10min walk away from the city center and 30min from the beach where you can swim. Thank you so much for everything Paulo!

We've enjoyed Cindy's place a lot. It is perfect if you want to work remotely with a beautiful view or to just relax. It is very spacious and cosy. Terrace is definitely better than it looks on the pictures! The view is amazing! :) . We order traditional breakfast twice and got THE most delicious Catchupa we have tried on the island of São Vicente. I would definitely recommend this place further.

We had a great time at this place! Warm welcome, beautiful and peaceful environment, nearby beach, comfortable accommodation with a beautiful terrace on which it was very nice to have the breakfasts that were brought to us every morning (be sure to specify this option beforehand with the host)... Paradise!! Two small points of attention, however, if you plan to stay: - Without a car, access is probably difficult because, as mentioned in other reviews, the listing is at the end of a long sandy/stone path and outside downtown Porto Novo - Don't rely too much on WiFi which is quite random 😅😉 Still, we recommend without so much as a second thought!! We wish we had stayed a little longer!! Thank you so much for hosting us 😊

We had an exceptional welcome at Anny's place, with great care and kindness. Anny offered us services that we didn't expect to find on site, like the possibility of meals served in the evening by Isa, and excellent! The possibility also to accompany us for different hikes or visits to the island. And the setting of the accommodation is beautifully located by the beach for beautiful sunsets, 20 minutes walk from Porto Novo. With a nice pool to relax after the effort. The garden is very meticulously maintained inviting the visitor to rest and contemplation. What happiness!

doucimar pavilion, in doucimar there is softness. Anny and Serge are present for you 24/7,and their employees jailson and isa "Cape Verdeans" , jailson for hikes he brings you from point A and picks you up at point B "if necessary" he does well in French, ISA his wife speaks French and at your request you cook chicken fish pork for the evening only happiness. I highly recommend this corner of paradise. a team close to listening to you.

Very nice accommodation with a very nice view, the staff is welcoming and the setting is beautiful!! Everything was fine we had a great time with my family and would recommend this place! Having come for the 2nd time, I am still so satisfied and I will not hesitate to rent this accommodation again during my next visits to the island of Sao Vicente!

Carine is very welcoming and speaks several languages which facilitates exchanges! Very clean hotel. Small pool, with only 4 sunbeds, fortunately we were alone (or almost) staying here. Note that the water is not heated and cooler than the nearby ocean, so the temperature difference with the outside makes you feel good! But once you're in it, that's okay! No "supermarket" in the village, few restaurants, it's very peaceful except the dogs barking all night or almost all night: keep the windows closed! There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Spacious room! We went to see the Turtles with the local fishermen, it's very exotic and to do!

nice, spacious and clean stay. you have no locked feeling due to the many light inside and the balconies available. Everything you need is available. you walk to the beach in no time. If you want to explore the area, you can get on the bus that stops in front of the door or grab a taxi. Plenty to do in the area: restaurants, playground, museum and the city center can be reached within 5 minutes by taxi. + clean + friendly and helpful + security available + lively environment + supermarket nearby - high stairs to get to the apartment building. (There is an elevator in the building itself. Would get a key to be able to take the elevator downstairs via garage due to the stroller. In the end, it was not necessary. - can be heard a lot of wind in the house on windy days. solved with a cloth for the grate so it could no longer be heard in the house - balcony doors couldn't be locked (no problem was 8 high)

Nice place very close to beach. Stenio was very helpful and helped us through some flight issues. Leo was a great tour guide through the city. Apartment is very well set up with different services you can easily access and in a great location

Great place and super close to restaurants, the beach and everything else you need. Stayed here for a full month and felt home from the first day. Only negative point is the construction in the area, but this is Cape Verde. The country is developing and therefore construction is all over the place. Marco does his best to make you feel home and is always just a short message away. THANKS

Very nice tidy space, really enjoyed it, everything could be found in the house, also super convenient that there was a camera doorbell. A lot was within walking distance, the house was easy to find for, for example, taxis. The host Betty and Eva are friendly ladies. See you soon, maybe.

Despite the fact that Ed informed us shortly before arrival that the apartment is not clean and therefore could not check in. Offered us everything for the postponement. Since we were almost at the door, he did everything so that we check in immediately. THANK YOU..... place is very large, everything was as described. Quiet area and the whole property with house was very secured and the street was guarded by one person at night. From the property you can walk very quickly throughout the city. I would take the place again.
