A Great Find on Airbnb! We recently had the pleasure of a short stay at ‘The Stables’ in Lower Tean, Staffordshire. On arrival, Jaci and Fraser welcomed us into their beautifully decorated Stables Annex. It was very apparent that our friendly hosts had put such a lot of thought, care and attention to detail to make their guests feel at home in this lovely property; from the beautiful co-ordinated soft furnishings, the extra mirrors dotted around, the comfortable beds, the adjacent bathroom with overhead shower, all the lovely toiletries you could possibly need, the extra shelf space for your own personal items, the well equipped kitchenette, to the homemade shortbread. Delightful! A perfect retreat for a visit to the Peak District or family visit to Alton Towers. Hence, we have no hesitation in recommending ‘The Stables’ to our family, friends, and other Airbnb travellers. We would also like to reiterate our thanks to Jaci and Fraser for making our short stay so enjoyable. X

Love, love - LOVED!!!… this place!… just taken my extended family for time away to chill and reconnect with nature… this was an awesome place to do that as it wasn’t fully camping in the back of beyond… you got a look that looked like a loo and a hot tub 🥰… beds were very comfy… it was fantastic to see younger people from the age of 9 to 21 go tech-free for an evening… and learn how to play on the tyre swing, talk to the animals, have a campfire… wonderful place, fantastic hosts… thank you sooooooo much!!! xxx

What a little gem of a place this cottage is!!! If you want peaceful and rural and don’t mind the odd passing train this place is perfect. Space to park, easy to access and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I was a short notice booking and Adam was extremely accommodating and helpful. The living room is cosy and snug and the log fire just adds to the feel of the whole place. Would definitely recommend and be rebooking.

We had a wonderful stay, the cottage is beautiful and full of character. It has everything we needed and quite surroundings. Tony was a great host and very accommodating. I highly recommended this cottage!
