Vacation rentals with lake access in Milwaukee County

Michael is an excellent host. Very nice man. When we arrived, he gave us a tour of the house. Was available if we needed anything. And otherwise left us to ourselves. After we left, he noticed that we left a pair of shoes behind and notified me right away. He was accommodating when arranging a pick up plan. The house has an empty lot next door so sitting on the patio furniture was very nice. He offered to let us use the fire pit, but we didn't have time. The neighborhood is very quiet. The beds were comfortable. And we had free use of the kitchen. An excellent surprise was the walking path along Lake Michigan. The house is about 2 blocks away from it. Great view of the city and also natural beauty along the path. If I was in the area in the future I'd stay here again.

Perfect place if you want to feel right at home in Milwaukee’s lower east side! Mary Lou is incredibly friendly and has all the right recommendations to properly experience the city.

This airbnb is such a haven of peace! The silence was beautiful. The neighborhood is placed in a perfect spot: right by the lake, 15 minutes from downtown milwaukee by car, and near grocery stores and banks. Sheila and marlon were very communicative and let me know whenever they were coming by to do yardwork or tend to other tasks on the property. I felt safe and trult enjoyed my time here.

Great host! Very quick to respond. The only thing that threw me off was that the host will stay in the 1st floor of house during the stay. I didn’t see this anywhere on the description before booking, other than that my stay was good.

My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable accommodations and how close the home was to Anodyne Coffee, one of our favorite spots in the Bay View neighborhood. The duplex is spacious and welcoming, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. The living room, with its 65" TV and cozy seating, was perfect for unwinding, and the hosts provided thoughtful touches like games, books, and puzzles that made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is unbeatable—just a 7-minute walk to Lake Michigan and South Shore Park, where we loved taking morning strolls. Bay View itself is a vibrant area with great restaurants, cafes, and shops, and having Anodyne Coffee so close was a huge bonus. Practical amenities like self-check-in, in-unit laundry, and a garage parking space made everything easy and stress-free. Overall, this home was the perfect base for exploring Milwaukee. The combination of comfort, convenience, and a fantastic location made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend!

Where do I start :) it’s the best air b n b Ever . We stayed here multiple times and it is our favorite! Every time we need a place to stay when we are in Milwaukee this is first choice!

Location is very secure and convenient to downtown Milwaukee and BayView. We had a few questions upon arrival and Abdimalik was quick to respond. There is a great restaurant in the building and a coffee house opening soon. We visit the area several times a year and would definitely book again if available.

Betsy was a very warm and considerate host, and we enjoyed our stay a great deal. The space was clean, comfortable and cozy—perfect for four people who needed somewhere to stay, as well as do a certain amount of cooking / laundry / etc.

Sweet Bayview spot! This little basement apartment was super clean and stylish. The building was quiet with lots of amenities. Great classic Milwaukee neighborhood with a fantastic market right down the block, great restaurants and cocktails lounges as well as a nearby park on the shore of Lake Michigan to walk along. Lots to explore in uptown Bayview.

This was our first stay at Michelle’s apartment, but definitely not our last! We have family close by that we’ll be visiting often and I will always request to see if her place is available. She was excellent at reaching out a couple days before our stay to check in and let us know how to get in the building/apartment and to see if we needed anything. There was also sweet note on the foyer console, welcoming us. The apartment was VERY clean, beautifully decorated and Michelle even thought of little touches like small loofahs, along with a set of towels on each bed for us. When you walk in, there is a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan that takes up the expanse of the living & dining rooms. It was so awesome to wake up to that view each morning! I can’t say enough about her home...I kind of wanted to move in! The building itself is lovely and historic. It used to be a hotel and has a lot of lore behind it. I had so much fun researching it’s history. Location is amazing too!

Great location, super walkable for groceries (Glorioso's is a delightful little market), restaurants, and bars, and an easy walk to the lakefront and transit. The place itself was everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, and the kitchen allowed us to make breakfast for ourselves in the morning. I would stay here again.

Omar is a very kind host who is incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. He will make sure you have no worries during your stay. The rental is a beautifully built home with lots of character. It is an older house though, and as such it has it's quirks. The surrounding neighborhood was picturesque and fun to walk through and explore. I enjoyed my time here and I would recommend.
