Cosy & charming cottage: your country escape

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at honeypot cottage for New Year’s Eve. The cottage is super cute and is decorated beautifully. We appreciated the welcome biscuits! The village is very peaceful with great walks from the front door. We walked to the swan with two nicks and it was a lovely walk with great food at the end! We struggled to get and keep the cottage warm and there is no way we could have done it without the log burner so worth bearing in mind if you’re renting in the winter! It’s also worth noting for those bringing dogs that the garden is not accessible directly from the cottage. You have to go through next doors courtyard which is easy enough, but just a bit of a pain if you have a dog like ours who refused to toilet in the courtyard 😅 Simon and Caroline responded quickly to our messages before our arrival but left thorough notes for us, so we didn’t have the need to contact them during our stay. I have no doubt that they would have been helpful!

The Stables in Historic Berkhamsted

AdamRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
The Stables is a beautiful place to stay, and everything is comfortable and makes you feel right at home. A comfy bed and couch, high ceilings with wooden beams that make the place feel airy. My partner particularly appreciated the decent sized bath. Sarah herself is a great host! Great communication, and she went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. We’ll definitely consider The Stables in future if/when we head back to the area.

Hornbeam Cottage

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great cottage in a lovely quiet area. We were 5 ladies catching up and there was a perfect amount of space for us all. The double beds were comfy but we found the singles to be less so and more suitable for kids to sleep on. Bathrooms and kitchens were nice and clean :) Georgie was very responsive and dropped off some champagne flutes at a few minutes notice. The hot tub is amazing once you get it up to temperature and Georgie provides towels which is a nice touch. Just remember to take your indoor and outdoor slippers!

Tranquil Retreat in Bicester

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed here to celebrate my mums 60th as some family live in Kent and some in wales. This was a perfect house to host in. It was a lovely size and great for the outside driveway parking. The house was very clean and presentable. We had been left fresh coffee beans for the coffee make which was a lovely touch. The house was in walking distance to some shops and pub and a short drive to Bicester village. The owner answered straight away to any questions we had. Would highly recommend

Stayed here this weekend and I could not have been anymore satisfied with everything from start to finish! Susan was very helpful providing a guide to everything you may have a question with. The surrounding area was also a great bonus with places to explore or just sit and have a great view. The accommodation was superb, the bed was very spacious and the general facilities were easy to use. The hot tub was an absolute pleasure and again fairly simple to use. Overall a great stay and we would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, cozy stay.
