Monthly Rentals in Milovaig

What a magical place! We absolutely loved our stay here and already dream of coming back. The inside is soooo beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in on rainy days. We could never get sick of watching the sheep roaming the hillsides or the ever changing coast from the fabulous sunroom. The only downside is we were unaware of the time involved to bring the wood-fired hot tub up to temp. It takes an hour to fill with water and “up to 3.5 hours to heat in the winter”. Since we can’t leave the fire unattended, we weren’t able to enjoy it until our third night since we arrived home so late on the previous nights. It is also very hard to find in the dark and the pin led us to the wrong spot. Google Mapsing the house name took us to the right spot, but we arrived in the dark and were unable to see the sign to the bottom right of the gate. Everything else was completely perfect and we highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

We stayed at The Byre for 3 nights and it was absolutely incredible. A beautiful home tucked away on the hillside with amazing views of nature’s surrounds. It was the perfect place to just relax and kick up your feet while peering out the huge glass windows, just getting lost in the moment. Debbie was the perfect host with excellent communication the whole way through and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Cannot say enough great things about this home. Located in a peaceful setting, modern amenities and great location to check out the rest of Skye. Had a great week away from the world. Great hosts with great recommendations as well!

This will be lengthy because it was so amazing. We stay in lots of places across the US, Mexico, and Canada and this one might be my all time favorite. The view is stunning! There really are no suitable words to describe it. Additionally it is completely private with the exception of the cows and sheep which is another perk. We got to witness some border collie work a few times moving the livestock which was such a treat. The home itself is exactly as pictured but somehow better. Your every need and wish has been anticipated and every detail is very thoughtfully executed. Location is within an hour of anything you might want to see but the village itself has some gems. We enjoyed the cafe and the old school restaurant as well as the local small grocer. This is truly a magical place but coupled with such a fantastic home and thoughtful touch made it so much more unforgettable.
