The host is so nice. He pick up us when we check in late, and prepared fruit, water and juice. We have three person, and we got one more mattress. Room is clean and you can find all thing you need

Nicky was amazing in communicating, especially during such an uncertain time, and really kind in leaving us with tea, milk, showering products, games, and lots of useful information for the area. As we were visiting a friend in Leith, the location was perfect - but also really easy to get into the centre of Edinburgh, or a 40 minute walk or so to Portobello beach. Her daughter checked us in and was very kind and helpful. The flat itself is lovely, a really spacious living room area, comfortable bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen with a washing machine. Would definitely recommend, and if we return to Leith would love to come back here again!

Very close to a lot of restaurants. Close to the places we wan to go even the castle. We had a great.

Me sentí como en casa en lo de Ben. Hermoso el lugar y muy cálido. Tuve libertad para moverme, tanto como una disposición amable. La zona es bella, a diez minutos caminando del centro. Hay un supermercado en la esquina y cafés a una cuadra o menos.

Thank you for a comfortable stay in a characterful place where people actually live! You can experience a unique piece of history and see a colony flat from the inside with the original layout and exterior. As a bonus, an actual artisan lives (Paul Isaacs, watercolour artist) in the property which gives it extra authenticity. The location is walkable to the main attractions, Edinburgh Mile etc, without being too close to noisy nightlife. I had a wonderful stay and wish I could have stayed in Edinburgh longer. Staying with chill and accommodating hosts definitely helped me to fall in love with Edinburgh!

loved my stay, incredible hosts so hospitable and welcoming. the room is quite spacious and everything is very clean. the flat is located in a very quiet area and great location close to holyrood park and quick walk to the beach. accessible by public transportation as well. i appreciate all the local recommendations and making me feel at home. i highly recommend this stay!

Mark is a friendly, good-humored host. We communicated effectively before my check-in so that he was home to greet me and show me the amenities, which are all the ones listed on this app. What I liked the most was the bedroom, which had clean bed sheets and a comfortable bed. I had a good night’s sleep every night, as the area is quiet and so is Mark, even as he leaves to work pretty early. Secondly, but just as important, I appreciated that the bus stop is right outside: buses to the city centre stop there very frequently. I wanted a place to come back to easily after a day of visiting the touristy places but also connecting with the beautiful nature in Edinburgh. Overall, I think Mark’s place was the right one for me.

It was a really pleasant stay. It is a beautiful and clean house with two lovely cats. Sophie is really nice and helpful. She even woke up at 6am for us to give a ride to the airport. We will definitely stay in her place if we visit Edinburgh again!

Lovely spare room in Leith. Walking distance to plenty of cafes including a lovely coffee kiosk, easy access into Edinburgh via the tram and buses.

Absolutely lovely place to stay, and Kate, herself made it the best. She gave me the help I needed with various things, and made me feel completely at home.

Staying at Tracey’s place felt like being welcomed into the home of an old friend. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely at ease with her warm welcome and prepared me a cup of tea ☕️ When I caught a cold after The Highlands trip, she went above and beyond by preparing Lemsips for me without hesitation—such a thoughtful touch that I’ll never forget! Her home is cozy, and her two adorable cats added an extra layer of comfort and such a joy to be around! What truly stood out, though, were the wonderful conversations we shared. Tracey is such an interesting and caring person, and our chats made my stay even more special. Ochotný hostitel. Měli jsme přílet až po půlnoci a zůstali kvůli nám vzhůru, aby nám otevřeli ve 3 hodiny ráno.

Lovely place to stay. Laura was very responsive sending us exceptionally detailed messages about everything we needed to know. The house was very quiet. The room was very clean and cozy and the bathroom was excellent – clean and shiny. The bus stop to the centre of Edinburgh is just around 7 min from the house. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend staying at Emanuele's house. He and his girlfriend are incredibly welcoming, and Spark, always greeted me with the warmest welcome. My schedule was quite packed, so I didn’t have much time to spend with them, but whenever I needed advice, they were always enthusiastic and helpful. The house looks exactly like the photos, and the beautiful decorations for Christmas made it feel cozy. The location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit all the attractions.

Dorota was very helpful! I only spent a few hours on new year’s eve and left super early in the morning but I found the room very cosy and warm considering that there was a storm outside! The place was clean as well and the room is fairly spacious and comfortable!

Samo mieszkanie jest małe, ale dobrze zagospodarowane. Jest czysto, i przytulnie. Nicolas jest bardzo miły, komunikatywny, daje polecenia różnych miejsc które warto zobaczyć lub gdzie i co można zjeść. Dla palaczy ogromnym plusem jest to że w środku można palić, dlatego też wybrałem to miejsce. Bardzo polecam, przy następnej wizycie w Edynburgu na pewno tu wrócę :)

Mazen fue un chico súper agradable y atento. Nos dejó entrar antes de la hora para poder dejar las maletas y nos hizo varios favores. La limpieza del lugar era destacable y todas las comodidades estaban limpias y como nuevas. Fuimos mi madre y yo, y nos sentimos siempre súper bienvenidas. Si estáis pensando en venir, no lo penséis más veces y cogerlo!

Experiencia 5 estrellas en zona tranquila increíble de Edimburgo!!! Mark es un anfitrión excelente!!! Muy simpático, gentil, cuidadoso. Nos dio excelentes recomendaciones locales. Todo, absolutamente todo estaba impecablemente limpio, ordenado, con buen aroma y agradable. Cama muy cómoda, calefacción, baño cómodo y limpio, con productos y toallas de muy buena calidad. Café, té, frutas disponibles. No tenemos más que palabras de agradecimiento para Mark por su generosidad y excelente trato. Creo que tomamos la mejor decisión al hospedarnos en este hermoso apartamento en una zona tranquila a 20 minutos caminando del centro de Edimburgo y a 5 minutos del waterfront de Leith, una zona mágica , llena de cafés y restaurantes con una vista increíble. Transporte muy facil desde el aeropuerto, la parada del tranvía eataba 5 minutos del alojamiento. Super recomendado!!!

We had a great stay at this place! The neighbourhood is excellent — quiet, pleasant, and very well located. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were travelling with a small dog who tends to get anxious when left alone, and we had tickets to a concert where we couldn’t bring her. The host was very understanding and kindly assured us that even if she barked a little, it wouldn’t be a problem — which we really appreciated! The price was also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and location. We’re really happy we chose this place!

Georgio and Andy were very nice and very proactive in comunication and always responded prompty. The apartment is comfortable and very pleasent, and the location is excellent.
