Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Mexico

This is such a beautiful place. The surroundings are just amazing and it is very peaceful. There are so many places to explore on their property- and the views are wonderful. The beach is easy to walk to and the water was perfect for my kids. Carmen and Jose were very friendly and made a great dinner. The only thing I would change is that I wish they provided beach towels (they did tell us to bring some and so we bought some there). Otherwise- one of the best places I have stayed. The room was very simple but we didn't spend much time there. There is so much outdoor space to hang out in. We could also easily walk to the little town and had lunch and dinner there. Spent some time hiking the volcano (the trail is right outside the driveway!) and going to petroglyphs.

Mazunte has 3 primary narrow, but mostly shaded streets that are lined with small hotels, restaurants and shops. Very walkable, a couple hundred yards to the beach, perhaps a little more. Traffic is occasionally crowded, but mostly not bad. We especially like the courtyard/patio common area, filled with large topical trees and plants, hammocks, frequently a breeze, nicer than the photos actually show. Martin sent good instructions on finding the place, which, unfortunately I had not seen until too late. Google Maps was totally screwed up, had us going in circles. We had to call him, but he was very helpful. I would highly recommend this place if you want a central but quiet location, although we were here in mid-March, and the season is beginning to wind down a little.

Great host wonderful location

Pura Vida Retreat Center is truly a hidden gem nestled in the charming town of Yelapa. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene atmosphere and welcoming staff. My room was not only immaculately clean but also beautifully designed, offering spaciousness and breathtaking views. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the Watsu healing session, which was nothing short of transformative. The staff's dedication to ensuring a memorable experience truly sets this retreat center apart. I can't wait to return to this absolute treasure of a place ,I will be hosting my own retreat here next year

This is a great place to enjoy the desert and the Sea of Cortez. It is minimal but still offers starlink internet, a bathroom, kitchen and privacy. The campsite manager Jose is very helpful and will make sure you feel at home. So if you find yourself in the area definitely stay the night and enjoy the tranquility of the desert.

The place is a wonder for its location in the middle of the Coatepec fog forest. The place is very beautiful and the house has everything to feel more than comfortable with all the comforts and having nature just by opening the windows. The ideal place to unplug and reconnect, no doubt. Despite being in the middle of the forest, the house has several restaurants nearby and other leisure options. Lourdes was very responsive, friendly and always willing to offer us something more to make our stay as comfortable as possible. My family and I loved the whole experience. Definitely a place to come back.

A highly recommended place, very friendly, all

If you’re reading this and considering staying here, read no further and go ahead and tap that big pink reserve button. The people here are wonderful, and the place is perfectly peaceful. The included breakfast of fresh juice, fruit, tea or coffee and toast with extras was excellent. The optional dinner they offer was always delicious. There are a few other huts on the property yet the place was always quiet, especially in comparison to the chaos you get at the big resorts in Mexico. We loved the natural vibes here. Some good-to-knows: Everything in their description is accurate, just be aware the bed (at least in the hut we were in) is quite firm. Getting here with your own rental car is the way to go IMO, especially if you want to explore the area. Taxi from Akumal to the Villa is MX$600. We’ve stayed at a lot of really great airbnbs but I’m not sure we’ve ever been quite so sad to leave as we were when dragging our suitcase away from this one. It was the perfect escape.

An excellent place to stay, highly recommended and close to certain attractions

This place is a hidden gem in Izamal. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The pool was great for kids. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The best part was the buffet-style breakfast included. Overall they go above and beyond. We will stay again next time we are in Izamal.

The cabin is beautiful, surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff is super attentive and they are attentive at all times. If you're looking for a beautiful, relaxing day, you should go to these cabins.

Hugo and Raul are excellent people and hosts, the hotel is worth it, we loved everything, we were happy there, friendly people. We would return whenever we go to Cerocahui - Bahuichivo. A very nice place.

My favorite place in the world so far. My expectations were exceeded and I have never felt more at home. Friendly and accommodating staff! Relaxing vibes and lowkey if you need time to drop in. I felt so connected to everything and my natural surroundings. Show yourself some love and come here, you will never be disappointed. I will remember this for the rest of my life. Mateo is an incredible welcoming friendly host who gives you everything you may need and makes you feel right at home in his little slice of paradise. He is so generous and always willing to give more and more whenever he can. He also was extremely responsive and always answered my questions immediately, both before and during the trip. As a female arriving solo, I can 100% attest that there was no point in which I felt any bit uncomfortable or at risk either in the airport, the transportation, or in La Manzanilla. The cabana itself was so comfortable and lovely in such a simple rustic and peaceful way, and could not ask for better location on such a beautiful beach. Town is just a few steps away, with so many little shops and great restaurants to choose from within a less than .5 mile radius. La Manzanilla is a really perfect, safe, charming little town full of friendly happy kind people. The beach is amazing for swimming. We would go back in a heartbeat and stay longer next time!

A very good place to get away from the city without getting away from it. The cabin is very cozy. Victor and his family were very attentive. We loved how they take care of and treat their dogs.

Access is a bit tricky, but it's very nice and they're very attentive. Perfect for relaxing in the middle of the forest
