Guesthouse vacation rentals in Mexico

Our stay was everything we were looking and hoping for! It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and so close to the main center with all the shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. The pool was so nice and relaxing, we were so happy to have it as an option, and loved the lounging area in the pool area. Hosts were so friendly and always quick at responding. We can’t wait to come back and would recommend!

From the moment I booked, María was incredibly sweet and responsive. She welcomed us in person with her adorable dog, Nugget, and showed us the space — a clean, cozy guesthouse perfect for me and my partner. The location was ideal; most places were walkable (6–26 minutes). María and her assistant Lupita were super accommodating. When I couldn’t find an open laundry service, María kindly offered hers at a great price, and I had my clothes back the next morning, neatly folded. Our flight got delayed, and she generously let us check out late. We truly appreciated her hospitality and would absolutely return and recommend!

Regarding the accommodation, it was very comfortable, the rooms and bathroom were clean, the pool was clean and the water was warm, in fact we were able to put our 8-month-old baby in. They respected our privacy even though at times there were more people, who were kind at the time, as were the people who clean. The dogs are locked up, they don't seem to be aggressive, the only thing is that at night they bark a lot and don't allow a total rest, although perhaps they are there to provide greater security. In conclusion the house has everything you need to feel comfortable, it is clean, it is safe, as well as the area looks quiet, however at nights the heat of the day is a little enclosed and the fans are insufficient to be able to cool and the noise of the dogs does not allow you to have a total rest.

Super recommended, the hostess is very friendly and attentive at all times to what we needed. The weekend we were very cold but the apartment was super hot so we didn't suffer cold. I would definitely stay there again.

An excellent place to rest, the place is very pleasant and quiet, very good location and always very attentive. They helped us recover some lenses that we forgot. An excellent lodging option in Tepoztlán.

For my first experience, I was truly fascinated. If I visit Valladolid again, I would return to Mrs. Alejandrina is a super attentive and friendly person.

We are returning guests because we love everything about this rustic little gem. Sitting high on the cliff overlooking the ocean with steps to the beach. Our check-in was easy and communication was perfect. The location is walkable to restaurants, bars, and a corner store. This accommodation is very dog friendly as is the beach. We will return soon!

The place was beautiful and exactly as described. Super beautiful property in walking distance to a beautiful beach. We loved the property, the pool and outdoor kitchen. Margarita and her husband were very kind, helpful and accommodating. Big thank you for letting us use the hot tub at night! Surroundings are very quiet and peaceful, but restaurants and the town are easy and quick to reach. We had an amazing stay and loved every moment! Would definitely recommend. Angela and her mom were the most amazing hosts! Would not stay anywhere else but their house!! Highly highly recommend going on a trip with Angela’s guide company it was amazing, we swam with mobulas and sea lions it was incredible. (Also ask Angela about her sick swimwear brand :)) Marie (Angela’s mom) does guided meditations on Wednesdays that we went to and it was so relaxing. The casita is 10 mins away from the beach which was beautiful for sunset and there is a fish market up the street that serves delicious tacos. Highly highly highly recommend this casita!!

Loris was a fantastic host, the Casita was clean and easy to use. shower was hot, toilet and sinks worked well. we made most of our meals and the kitchenette did everything we needed. There is a tiny mercado next door and the proprietors there were kind and helpful as well. Everything we asked for from Loris we got. the family also owns a small doordash Greek food situation and they were happy to sell us meals from there with some notice. It is located on a busy street but the Casita faces the home's courtyard which was beautiful and peaceful. our car was safe behind a locked gate with a garage door opener. It was a great experience of what it would be like to live in Ensenada. Comfortable, more like staying with a friend (which we did later in our trip) than staying in a hotel. lovely, simple, clean, and Loris was very responsive. would stay there again.

Maria was attentive to our needs and a great communicator. Our stay was relaxing and comfortable, great bed. The only recommendation is a number on the house, for the taxi amd golf cart drop off. It was a wonderful stay overall.

We had a wonderful stay in Sayulita and highly recommend Rachel's casita! The space was beautifully designed and had everything we needed. And Rachel was responsive, helpful, and accommodating.

This was a great place to stay. The location is few blocks to the south end of the beach which was perfect for us. The nights and morning were quiet and peaceful compared to some places I have stayed in Mexico. Gerardo was quick to respond and went above and beyond to provide what we needed. I highly recommend this place.

Everything is perfect. The place is very nice and also quite functional. Edgar was always flexible and open in planning and communication, and even gave us some recommendations that we hadn't considered. I could say it was part of the success of our event.

Great place to choose, Diana great hostess

Ava is a wonderful host and Ameri was so welcoming when we arrived. Cold beers from the patio fridge and in our own fridge were so on point ! Gracias! We are dog lovers and hanging outside by the pool with the four pooches made our stay extra special. Plus the views from the rooftop patios are amazing - we spent most of our time sipping coffee or beer and taking it all in. The kitty and chickens add to the appeal of this paradise by the sea. For folks who like to walk - while you can walk to the local coffee shop and burrito place you cannot really stroll anywhere else, like even tho the beach is right there - the car traffic makes it impassable on foot.

Place was as described, excellent communication, great AC units, spacious and well-stocked kitchen, and a nice little home gym setup. Place felt private (stand-alone "house"), and was walking distance from a ton of variety - restaurants and bars - while not feeling too loud. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at Lupe’s place! The house is gorgeous, super close to the beach (you can hear and see the ocean from it!) and has all that you’d need to settle in! Lupe was so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Highly recommend!

If you are going to Puerto Escondido do not hesitate to book here, the house is even better than in the photos, everything was absolutely spotless! The beach is a 10-minute walk away, the sea view is perfect, and it's very easy to get around the area or go to the most central places by taxi. Next to the house there is a shop which makes everything much easier and additional there are delicious restaurants in the area. It's quite quiet, it's a plus that has a pool and the people who help with the cleanliness are a love! I would return to this place whenever I return without a thought 2 times. Thank you very much!!
