The house is just perfect, spacious and all you could need. We were 2 families and there was plenty of space for adults and children. We has a small problem with the heating, but it was resolved super fast and Christian and Andrea were helpful and responsive. The kitchen is well equipped and the AGA is amazing to cook on and keep warm. Would 100% recommend this home and the hosts. Thanks for a fab stay.

I was comfortable and felt safe in Ellen's house. Easy street parking. No outside noise nice and peaceful. Everything you need in an Airbnb. Excellent communication from Ellen she couldn't do enough. I'd book again for sure.

Just back from a lovely weekend with my family. The lodge was exactly as advertised, and the space inside was fantastic. Went on a couple of walks to the lake which was beautiful although the geese didn't appreciate us being there 🤣. 10 minutes drive away is a lovely pub serving meals (redesdale arms) the sunday lunch and cheesecake deserts were amazing. We did cook in the lodge one night and found plenty of kitchen utensils to cater for our home cooking. Hot tub was throughly enjoyed by us all especially my son he loved it. We had an issue with the kettle and messaged ben about it, he had someone there just a little while later with a new kettle so very responsive host. Thank you for a great birthday weekend. We have just returned from a relaxing stay in Steph’s lovely peaceful house in the gorgeous village of Wylam. The house was perfect for our family of 4. An extra single bed was provided for the kids and they loved the cuddly mice on the bed. We enjoyed the log burner on a cosy night in and playing the board games. The kitchen was perfectly kitted out for cooking and really appreciated the milk, tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolate that welcomed us! The village has some relaxing walks, park and pubs! Perfect to get the train into Newcastle too. Thanks for a lovely stay :)

Lovely clean and tastefully decorated house, everything there that you could want while away from home. Really well stocked kitchen, so you can make a variety of meals if required. Beds really comfy and the street is very quiet so slept like a log! All the rooms were a really good size, more than enough room for a family of 4. Location was great for our needs (visiting family), the town is within walking distance so really handy. Richard was very responsive to messages and really friendly. All in all a really positive experience and will definitely stay there again.

Booked Sammy’s place originally for my parents but unfortunately due to ill-health there were unable to make the journey up from Manchester however, I was delighted when my sister said that she was available. Sammy’s place is a hidden gem. I personally live in Hexham and cannot recommend Ian & Susan’s beautiful Accommodation any stronger than this, ‘Quite simply, the best accommodation in Hexham’. The location is perfect to get around the town, especially if you have difficulty walking as it is literally situated a stones through from the high street. There is plenty to do in Hexham being spoilt for choice when it comes to local Independant shops, a theatre, cinema, multiple pubs, bars and restaurants as well as the gorgeous Sele Park and surrounding area. Sammy’s place is a great place to stay with everything you need to feel completely at home; love this place and Susan & Ian are the perfect hosts. Thank you for making my sisters visit to Hexham a memorable one, Warm Regards

Great location, bonus of having a parking permit provided. Surprisingly quiet given the busy location. Immaculate, well designed space well equipped. Lisa & Steve are good hosts who have added lots of nice welcome touches.

Linda’s flat was ideally located for our stay, only 15 minutes walk to the Freeman Hospital and five mins to the Metro. Parking in the area was easy, too, which helped. Linda was lovely and couldn’t be more helpful during our stay.

Great location, great apartment, really comfortable and a lovely place to stay in a fantastic town. Parking spot and the lovely big living room with views over the town a big bonus too.

Neil was very friendly and responsive to our questions. We’re American and always struggle with learning how to turn on the showers and appliances while in Europe. It is very close to the train tracks which we used multiple times during our stay. It is in a quiet neighborhood. I do feel the location is a bit hidden, but once you know how to get there, it’s easy. His place was very nice and we enjoyed our stay.
