Liebe Rosella, thank you for your great place to stay in this charming picturesque place at the top of the mountain. Despite the many rain and the mowing work that takes place, we were also able to enjoy the sun and the magic of this silence high up on the large terrace for a few days and look into the distance to the horizon. While it stormed and rained outside, we had made the very cozy kitchen a family meeting place. It was great, homely moments as a family. Tuscany and also Metato are always worth a trip - the weather is usually much better.

From the first moment of the vacation, you felt comfortable in this unique historic house with its great garden! The whole ambience invites you to relax and offers a perfect vacation time! Gianluca is an excellent landlord who is always available to his guests! He enriches the stay with tips for attractions, restaurants and shopping for everyday life. We had an accident on the way back and Gianluca helped and supported us so lovingly! It's a gift to meet people like him! They enrich life! Thank you

My family rented Matteo’s place for a month and absolutely loved it! His place has stunning views, the house has old world Italian charm, it is close close to the beach, there is a fantastic restaurant in the village which is walking distance, and it is a half hour to an hour away from many wonderful Tuscany attractions. Matteo and his dad Riccardo were very responsive and great hosts. Metato is a hidden gem in Camaiore! It’s so peaceful at the top of the mountain. I loved the slow pace of life including the village church bells that ring at 6 minutes after the hour to remind you to slow down. :) I highly recommend staying here!

We had a great time at the house in the hills - hiking directly from the door step to stunning views and hidden spots and Beach just 30 minutes away - best Tuscany mixture 🍋😀 Jennifer was always very quick answering and had a lot of recommendations, which helped us a lot to deep dive quickly into the area
