Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Merzig-Wadern

Very nice and quiet location. Rooms were clean and everything was prepared. Perfect for 7-8 people The only drawback was the Wi-Fi, but it didn't ruin the whole thing. Overall, we had a very nice stay and highly recommend it. Thanks a bunch

We arrived at the cottage and immediately felt at home. Everything was as described or shown in the pictures. Marianna was always easily accessible and we felt more than comfortable and welcome. Our dog also felt very comfortable there; that you bring your own blanket for the dog is a matter of course for us and also that you cover the sofa, for example, if the dog goes on the sofa is absolutely understandable. The house is quietly located and we were very quickly in the forest with the dog (where even a few gnomes live). All in all, the stay was very relaxing and simply great for us. We will definitely book with Marianna again, because we have seen a lot in the last few days, but not all the sights in the area.

We chose the place because we were mainly there with a dog for hiking. The apartment is very cozy and clean and invites you to relax. The garden is also large and beautifully designed. Unfortunately, we did not get our money's worth in culinary terms, as Bitche is a relatively bleak city with little gastronomy. Culturally, however, it has a lot to offer and is also very well maintained. Overall, it met our expectations.

We enjoyed our stay in the home. It was a beautifull house in a beautifull garden. We had a warm welcome of the host. We enjoyed our stay.

The house is very nice, furnished exactly as shown in the pictures. You can relax very well and hear the birds chirping to wake up. It is very close to nature and yet you are in Saarbrücken in 15 minutes. Would go again.

Great place, Gisela was very helpful! We were worried about getting there with our small car not an SUV, but it was not an issue at all, the road is very easy and accessible. Tinyhouse was very clean, even tho it was a bit cold outside we could turn the heating on and it was very cozy. We were mainly going to different cities around and I’m a bit sad our stay was short because I would love to enjoy the nature around. It’s a perfect place to stay for people that loves countryside, want some peace and quiet in their lives even just for a weekend ❤️

The cottage is protected in the back of a yard, very quiet and spacious. In the yard itself there was a small cozy lounge and a small garden. In the cottage everything is very spacious and stylishly furnished with comfortable bed, nice kitchen and bathroom .. everything is great. From there you can visit the thermal bath in Mondorf and the spa park, restaurants are nearby and with free public transport you are quickly in Luxembourg city (great!), on the Mosel or elsewhere. You can also ride a bike to Schengen, swimming lakes or Remich. A beautiful wine region. Seb and Cathy were great hosts, very accommodating, always approachable and helpful. Great people and it was very nice to have met them. And then there's Twenty, the cocker spaniel. A well behaved, bright and nice guy we loved to play with. It was nice and relaxing days .. Thank you!

We had a fantastic 4 days, Frédéric is someone who pays attention to the details and you notice this in everything. The apartment is spotless and very nicely decorated!

We enjoyed staying in the apartment as part of a weekend trip very much. The apartment offers a very special and actually unique interior. It was individually designed with great attention to detail with high-quality materials and extraordinary objects. The solid wood used for furniture and doors, especially the wooden floor, makes the apartment particularly cozy. The area is perfect for hiking, the infrastructure in the village leaves nothing missing.

We enjoyed very much. The host was very welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy apartment in which many old elements have been used. The garden was also very beautiful and equipped with a hammock, barbecue, deck chairs and swings. We didn't lack anything. Everything we needed was present or was taken care of. We have had a wonderful time.

Fantastic location. Quietly located, yet close to shops, villages and beautiful walks. The place provided everything we needed. Around the house, we spotted deer, weasels, fire salamanders and many other animals. It is recommended to come by here.

Great apartment on the ground floor of a 2-family house. Very quiet location. Top equipped kitchen with coffee machine, coffee beans, milk, tea and even 2 piccolo sparkling wine in the fridge as well as a fruit plate. Very friendly welcome, our bikes could be safely in the garage at night. Good WiFi!

a place so efficiently organised and cozy at the same time makes you feel at home instantly. Many things stood out for me, e.g. the friendly welcome, the stylish, yet clutter-free interior, the fact that it's off the beaten track while shops are in walking distance, safe parking and the friendly neighborhood. Last but not least, the work space was a bonus together with fast Internet. Tour the area, be in need of a work retreat or just relax - this place has it all.

The contact was incredibly friendly from booking to departure. She responded quickly to messages and was also spontaneously available by phone to facilitate the search for parking. A few hours before arrival, we were able to easily move our check-in forward - it doesn't get better. Upon arrival, someone also came out directly to show us the way. From front to back, she was very eager, be it cozy additional blankets, a phone call the next morning, whether we slept well or the great, small breakfast plate. Just great! It's not excluded that we will come again in the summer! At the beginning of March, it was a little too fresh - especially to be able to use the beautiful outdoor area properly.

A nice campsite by the water, the cabins are ideal for a comfortable stay and if you would like to cook for yourself while the geese walk past your door. Super friendly staff and well maintained toilet and showers. The only downside we found was the busy highway that breaks through the tranquility right behind the wooden cottages. We had a nice time and were also happy with the bus that stops just in front of the campsite😀

Wonderfully quiet place in a remote village. High in the sky, you may occasionally hear a plane, a car or tractor passing by, but otherwise mostly the birds. It is a very cozy wooden cottage, very solid, and that is mainly heated by the wood stove, where abundant wood is available that can be used, with tondel and small pieces of wood to get things going. Only in the two bathrooms (upstairs and downstairs) is electric heating, so you won't get cold. The living room area is a bit dark and could use some more lighting. There is no beautiful (not necessarily ugly) view, but the tranquility you have there is wonderful, although sometimes with the wrong wind you can hear the blows of a modern windmill. Not disturbing otherwise. Next to the door is a typical German restaurant and not bad, but also not 'haute cuisine' of course, for that we have other cities in the world. Without a car, far from amenities. Great!

Florian's house is a real treasure. In the middle of nature and incredibly beautifully decorated. The sauna and wood stove make it so special. You get exactly what's in the description. Those who have nothing to do with nature and the heating of stoves should rather look for something else. For us, it was just the thing. We will definitely be back.

We would describe Harald's place as a beautiful spot to go glamping, with the luxury of a normal roof, soft beds, a private shower and toilet and the option to cook. Absolutely beautiful area and Harald is very responsive and had some good suggestions for us to do around the area. There's a fire pit available where you can roast your meat above fire, when it's not raining. What we did not expect was the 40 fishermen at 6 AM who will stay around the cabin until 6PM, who use the public toilet right below the cabin. From the initial photos and location it wasn't clear that this was a fisherman's spot, and our son was looking forward to be able to swim close to where we sleep, which was only possible after 6PM. It was his idea to go camping, we didn't want to sleep in a tent so we settled in between :) Turned out our son had a different idea of camping so we left early. Still a lovely spot!
