Stunning 7BR Villa (Sleeps25) Loch Lomond|Glasgow

LeeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Perfect stay for a large group wishing to have both a taste of rural Scotland and the bright lights of the city! Great house for large groups with more than adequate cooking facilities. Excellent hot tub that was kept meticulously clean. The hosts were amazing and so helpful with helping me organise a stag weekend. Sharing local knowledge and recommendations of activities and hostelries, etc. Milngavie is a perfect location to explore both Glasgow city (20 minute train ride) and hit the start of the West Highland Way! Milngavie was a nice little town itself with an active high street and a good Tesco and station just a 3 minute walk from Pleasant Hill. We really enjoyed Fullbacks sports bar as well- good value food and an atmosphere. Activities we enjoyed from Pleasant Hill were a walk to Glengoyne Distillery, afternoon and night out in West End Glasgow and a speed boat pub tour of Loch Lomond! Thanks again Chris!

We arrived in the evening and it was great to have the apartment lights and heating already on. A nice welcome! The apartment is modern and well equipped. It is very clean and furnishings and decor are tastefully done. We had a wonderful stay and plan to revisit later this year. Thank you!

Cats Castle

SybilRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed here a few years ago but loved it so much we returned. Happy to report it was still a great place to say. So much space that a group of 12 (6 kids) could disappear into their own spaces or gather together for meals and games. East access to city or countryside. The castle is very well equipped and beds are comfortable. Hope this was not our last visit.

We stayed here for my dad’s surprise 70th birthday - (8 guests) Wow! Where to start! The most beautiful setting, sooo peaceful with beautiful view 😍 the house itself was absolutely stunning, had everything you needed and more!! The pool table and hot tub were a firm favourite!! The host Catriona was absolutely brilliant, she was so helpful and replied to my questions straight away, she even let us arrange to stay a little longer than originally planned which we were so thankful for🙏🏼 The house felt so homely with lovely decors, plenty towels for everyone, blankets etc. Truly there is everything you could need! The bedrooms are stunning even down to the hoover lines on the carpets! 😍 We cannot wait to come back! 🥰 thank you for having us and making my dads birthday so special! ✨ x

Greendale Cottage

This is a really lovely place to relax and unwind. Very well equipped kitchen was used for cooking a couple of evenings, the air fryer produced the most perfect salmon, moist and tender. The living space is just so easy to relax in, and comfortable - the open views of the surrounding have been well planned out to enable you to really enjoy the outdoors even whilst you are indoors! Ever so clean and fresh smelling, nice hot water with lovely pressure. All good and everyone happy. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and Phyllis is a great host, happy to accommodate any questions and queries. We wish we were able to stay longer.

We loved our family stay at Anne's glamping pod. We stayed in the Robin pod with bunkbeds and our kids absolutely loved them. Communication was great, access was easy and it was a nice and relaxed stay. The pod had everything we needed including a fully stocked kitchen with cutlery etc. Thanks to Anne for letting us stay!
