The Bothy is a wonderful place for both r&r and as a base to explore the wilds of Scotland. It’s incredibly peaceful, cosy, and well located. There are plenty of walks that leave from the front door, as well as some beautiful longer walks a short car ride or cycle away. Susannah was a wonderful host and kept in touch which was much appreciated. Definitely stay here if you can!

We had a lovely weeks stay in Hannah's property over the festive period. The property is beautifully furnished and is set out in the countryside so it is very peaceful. We enjoyed using the woodburner and watching red squirells through the window. The property is well located for exploring the Angus Glens and the coast and we would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely, clean, cozy cottage with everything you need for a short or long stay. Fiona is a great host, always responds quickly to any concerns. Hope to be back again!

Wow. I don't really remember what we expected but we were absolutely blown away by the thought and detail that went into our stay. Everything was really good quality, the furniture, the bedding, the pots and pans, the clothes airer, the toiletries, the hairdryers...I could go on. And Jacqueline had left out age appropriate toys for our boys which were all so clean and well looked after! The whole space was made completely child friendly, there was a baby gate at a slightly larger step between the hall and the living room, the tables in the living room had no edges and were heavy so little hands couldn't move them. There were arts and craft supplies left out for us too, as well as the play equipment in the garden. The boys loved it all. We felt the space was bigger than anticipated and the setting was beautiful. There were nuts and food hanging in the garden so we got to watch birds and red squirrels! Just another little added detail that made our stay so perfect. Thank you 😊
