“I'm so glad I found this listing, which stood out from the others because of its interesting decor. My colleague and I needed a place to stay in Palo Alto for a two-day team meeting. Todd's unique home was ideal, as it was near our meeting venue and also gave us plenty of space — we each had our own large room and even our own bathroom, crucial for getting to early-morning meetings on time! It's worth staying at the place just to see such an unusual home. But while I was intrigued by the photos on the listing, it's more than just a pretty house. It's also super comfortable. Another colleague complained about the uncomfortable bed where he stayed, whereas mine had me thinking I need to upgrade my bed linens. The sheets felt like butter, and everything in the house was super high-quality. The kitchen had everything we needed. Check-in with a lockbox was available, making it very easy. There was secure off-street parking. And Todd, the host, said we could pick fruit from his many fruit trees in the spacious backyard. Todd was also very quick to respond to any inquiries. I only wish we'd had more time to spend at this place. And I'm glad my husband wasn't on this trip, because he would have wanted to move in immediately. Highly recommend this place!”
This is our nice, new and adorable cottage in the backyard. Beautiful house, very private and clean. 340 sq feet. Biking distance to Stanford University and top Silicon Valley companies as well as to Caltrain station. Close to freeway 101, 84 and 880. Sorry, no pets, no TV, no smoking!
“A very convenient and charming place to stay in Palo Alto. It was sparkling clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. Perfect location - easy access from the highway and pretty much down the street from Stanford. Helen was the perfect host and responded to my questions promptly. Check- in and check-out were very easy. I wish we’d stayed long enough to enjoy the charming patio. Next time!”
Prepare to be amazed by art collected from all over the world. Even the garden has incredible sculptures, not to mention fragrant herbs and fruit trees. As well as being sustainably designed, this magnificent home also has an industrial chic vibe. All beds feature quality linens that are fair trade procured.
“I've stayed in dozens of Airbnb's across numerous countries spanning five continents. I'll cut to the chase and write something that I've never written before in any Airbnb review, and shouldn't write in this one (because what I'm about to write will decrease the likelihood that I'll be able to stay in Todd's place again): This is the single best Airbnb experience that I've ever had to good fortune to experience. (And now that I've written that, fingers crossed that availability will exist the next time that my wife and I find ourselves in Palo Alto to visit our daughter at college.)”
