Beautiful, spacious mid-century modern house located in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia. A 22 minute drive (or short train ride) from the Art Museum and downtown, this delightful house offers all of the comforts of home and ease of access to the city while also affording the opportunity for privacy and outdoor space. Large, light-filled spaces abound and it is great for relaxing and reading a book over morning coffee before heading out for a day in the city. Kid-friendly as well!
“The Arbor House is a beautiful 1970s piece of modern architecture where we enjoyed cooking, hanging out around the fire, and enjoying the outside from the inside. It is in a neighborhood, but the landscaping makes it very private. Mark left the house well-prepared for us with firewood, a projector, and even some white wine in the fridge while the Hmart nearby provided the dumplings and the mochi. He was also very available and clear. Lots of room, we were very comfortable with 6 people. 20 minutes from Philly, if that interests you.”
Open, friendly neighborhood on a single entry, tree lined road. Walk past the English garden to your private patio entry. Home away from home! Nearby Bryn Athyn College, Academy of the New Church Secondary Schools, Glencairn Museum, Cairnwood Event Venue, Bryn Athyn Cathedral.
“Lovely suite with a fridge, microwave and Keurig and extremely comfortable bed! Back garden would be very nice in the summer but was even nice in November. Stayed 5 nights. Met David briefly and enjoyed our conversation very much. Recommend highly.”
Fantastic budget-friendly place where you can meet people, make new friends around the world or simply relax! House is 2 blocks from Church Station on the Market Frankford line!!
“Great host, great value for your money !”
