Vacation rentals in Meavaig

We had a wonderful time on the island of Scalpay (Harris). The house is fabulous! It's beautifully decorated, has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. It was a really cosy and comfortable place to spend time in a beautiful quiet location but just a short drive to Tarbert for things you might need. The situation of the house is spectacular and the whole of Lewis and Harris are outstanding places of natural beauty to explore. Mary Jane and Ian could not have been more helpful with information before we arrived and during the stay. They went above and beyond in helping us when we had some ferry issues which meant we had to extend our stay, they were great hosts!

I had a fabulous stay at The Wee Bothy. So warm and cosy - especially the bed! Perfectly located close to many main sights and exactly as pictured and described in the listing. Excellent communication from Rachael and Ged with lots of helpful recommendations and advice before arrival. A wonderful little home to come back to each day, or to hide from the weather with tea and a movie. Highly recommend!

Lovely space with a great view. Unfortunately arrived in the middle of a winter storm so couldn’t enjoy the view as much as we would like. Tracey was lovely and prompt with her responses. We also appreciated the milk and butter/jams that was left for us, definitely came in handy.

If you’re looking for a central location then Shona’s place is just the one, good access to the beaches on Harris and a comfortable drive to Lewis. The place itself is lovely and clean with everything you could wish for, nothing is forgotten, leaving you to get on and enjoy this beautiful island.

We spent a really lovely 4 nights here. Beautiful views to wake up to each day. Very comfy bed. Nice hot shower. Cosy and warm. Everything we needed.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Angie's lovely house, which fully deserves all the tremendous feedback that it has received. Beautifully decorated and furnished, the photos do not do it justice. Pristine clean, comprehensively equipped, and with amazing extras such as the lovely flowers and the kindly provided breakfast items which were greatly appreciated. It is situated in a beautiful location within walking distance of the Callanish Stones, an easy drive to Stornaway, and with good driving access to all the beautiful places on Lewis and Harris. Angie is a very friendly and welcoming host, and she clearly puts enormous care and attention into her hospitality. If you are planning a visit to Lewis and Harris then I recommend that you look no further than to stay at Bayview Croft House, you will certainly not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay. The views from the house are amazing and we spent lots of time watching the wildlife. The book of the area was a real help to us finding the best places to visit and eat. Everything was really comfortable. Kenny even let us stay a bit longer as we had time to kill before the ferry. Would love to return thank you!

Jules and Mike place was perfect to stay while we visited the isles of Harris and Lewis . The place is cosy, clean and well equipped and had very beautiful views of the Sea of the Hebride and the Scalpay Bridge. The place is only 10-12 drive from Tarbert ferry terminal which very convenient. Jules and Mike are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They invited us to a scotish dance night at the local community centre which was absolutely grate! We had the most lovely stay, thank you!
