Apartment vacation rentals in McCall

The location and the condo were perfect for our ski getaway. Covered indoor parking and the ski gear valet were a welcomed benefit.

Great place

Tamarack as a whole never disappoints. The mountain, the mid mountain lodge, the ski village: Very lux and charming. The lodge/condo we stayed in was quaint and comfortable. The carpet was torn with a giant missing piece right as soon as you opened the door, which instantly gave us both a sense of noncleanliness and disappointment. Would/Will definitely be back and hopefully if we get room 306 again, the carpet will be clean and more appealing.

Our stay at Tamarack was great. The check-in/ check-out desk was friendly and easy to work with. We got upgraded to an even better unit and felt right at home. Parking garage was a huge plus. The resort feels brand new and the unit was comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. Only wish we would have known there is not a hot tub in the same building. Otherwise stay was 10/10. Would recommend!

We absolutely love staying here. This is our second time here and it is perfect each time. The ability to walk everywhere and enjoy a private hot tub on your own balcony is perfect. I have no complaints. I highly recommend staying here.

The only negative is that everything was closed. There’s not even a place to buy bottle water or anything. It was beautiful and nice. Just not much beyond that.

Absolutely what I needed: a very reasonable price that offers so much:a spacious studio with a kitchen to prepare meals, walkable to center of McCall, safe neighborhood, comfortable furniture, walk in shower, close to state park with hiking and beach access, and many small touches that was helpful and thoughtful in the unit. Pat responded immediately and was so kind when I had a question. Highly recommend this place and hope to return.

We always like McCall. Mike and Stella's place is close to town and close to Ponderosa. We felt welcome. The beds were nice. We're a family of four, and sitting together at night was a bit odd, as there are two big (very comfy!!) chairs to sit on in the living area. No room to add seats for the other two members of our family. We made it work by sharing the big seats, but this could be something to be aware of. There is not really a kitchen, but you can make yourself a cup of coffee or heat something up in the microwave. There is a fridge. Stella and Mike had left plenty treats for breakfast, which was nice! If it was just the two of us, I'd like to stay here again. We liked the area as usual, we went cross country skiing at Bear Basin, show shoeing near Gold Fork Hotsprings, went sledding in Ponderosa. In short: we loved it!

We really enjoyed our stay at Karla’s! The apartment was clean and the bed was sooo comfy! We loved having access to the club house and used it to go in the hot tub + steam room! The only bummer is that the pickleball courts were closed since they hadn’t removed the snow yet. Something to keep in mind is that the apartment is a little far from downtown (~25 minute walk) and McCall doesn’t have great access to uber/taxi. Not a huge issue if you don’t mind a bit of a walk but could be an issue when it’s very cold out or nighttime. Overall, lovely stay and would absolutely come back!!

David was proactive about telling us he would be in and out of cell phone service which was very kind. The condo was so CLEAN! We loved how walkable it was to the lake and downtown. The bed was really comfortable too!

What a great spot in the heart of town. The free equipment rental was a bonus that we were glad to have. Very comfortable space, would stay again. Hosts were great!

We stayed for the weekend and Kokanee fished for two days. The place was clean, private and had enough room for truck and boat. Lindsey was very responsive with messages and answering my questions. Very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.
