There are no words for what an incredible host Luke was. With an airbnb like this and a host like Luke, there is no need to stay in a resort. Luke transported us to and from the airport, made restaurant reservations, lagoon cruise bookings and fishing enquiries for us. He shared his local knowledge and kind hospitality with us for which we are so grateful and it made our time on Aitutaki so special. We can't recommend this place more.

Our stay with Jenny and her husband was absolutely one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had! They welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we felt like we were staying with good friends. They are truly exceptional hosts – super sweet, incredibly friendly, and always eager to help with anything we needed. The accommodation was spotless, cozy, and had everything we could possibly ask for. Jenny and her husband went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and would have loved to stay longer. Without a doubt, we will be back! If you're lucky enough to book a stay with them, you're in for an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

Kia orana,I was in Aitutaki for week's work. Moemoea is a nice new, clean and tidy cabin with a spacious deck out front. It's handy to the Taumanu and Tava'e resorts. Enjoyed my stay! Colin

Vaea met us at the airport with a beautiful handmade lei. She then took us on a tour of the main areas of the island including information on where we could eat and things to do. She also stopped at the supermarket so we could get supplies. The accommodation is right on the water with a kayak available for our use and a lovely hammock. Much of the lagoon is quite shallow but Vaea’s place has a swimming channel directly in front. Vaea also arranged a car for us as we hadn’t pre booked one. Vaea’s husband Kii took us on a lagoon tour which included many snorkelling locations where we saw purple coral, clams, travelling as well as a number of islands including One Foot island. The tour was fabulous and Kii was lots of fun. We’d highly recommend both the accommodation and the tour. Thanks Veae and Kii for making our time on Aitutake wonderful.

spent 2 weeks at Tina's air bnb had an incredible stay! the airbnb was beautifully presented and clean as a whistle, tina was accommodating to the fact we had 3 kids and set up an extra bed for us to ensure we all had somewhere to sleep comfortably, staff next door at the shops are so kind, polite and friendly! we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to stay next time we come visit aitu taki! thank you so much again tina 😊

This Villa is situated at the best location in the island. Your front yard is basically the lagoon. The villa was spacious and all of the amenities were great. There are air conditioning units in each bedroom for those hotter days. Nora was super helpful and responsive. Richard, Nora’s dad, was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the island. He gave us tons of information. Richard also owns a boat and took us on a private lagoon tour. He is a retired fisheries officer with over 30 years of experience and still volunteers to help with conservation efforts of the island. Amazing family and an amazing stay.

This private little home was the highlight of my trip - coming back to Tangikaara after adventuring & exploring the island. It has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and pleasant. Tania was super helpful and prompt in answering any questions I had leading up to the stay. Meali also showed me around the airbnb upon arrival and organised transfer to my next accomodation which was super helpful. Waking up to this amazing view and having your own private beach was great. Thanks guys!

Antie Mathilda was absolutely amazing. Helping my Fiancé and I feel right at home and have great recommendations on how to make the most of Aitutaki. If there is one place to stay on Aitutaki it is Petero’s Place!
