You can put your feet up in front of the fireplace after a hike, cook a hearty meal in the kitchen or grill in the nearby firepit +++ Deer Mountain is still here for you at this tricky time. Chestnut guesthouse is a fully renovated A-frame cabin in the town of Nagymaros, only a few minutes away from the forest. With its breath-taking panorama, outdoor fireplace big garden and calm atmosphere it provides a good opportunity to relax and slow down a bit. Air conditioning (and electric panels in the winter) heat and cool the cabin so it we are open all year. The cabin can host 4 people, pets are also welcomed.

With the apartment we provide bicycles so you and your fellow passengers can explore the beautiful Mátra. The guests can always reach out to me if they need a tip for local food or what to see in the neighbourhood. :-)
