Boutique hotel vacation rentals in Massachusetts

We stayed a few nights and the inn was quaint and cozy. Perfectly located to restaurants and shops. Our host Jeanette was friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast was served in the cutest dining area and her homade coffee cake was delicious.

Several times I have been welcomed here for business travel. Nice bonus to be able to unwind with a view of the ocean after a long day. Laid back, no frill’s atmosphere is what I love about this place.

What a wonderful place! The room was perfect for the four of us for a quick Cape trip! Everything was so clean and the staff was so friendly- the goats were an added bonus! We loved the Continental breakfast- communication was excellent! Thank you for such a great stay!

The bnb was exactly as represented on the site. Our bed & bath was spacious with cute black & white design. Bed & pillows were comfortable. Everything you could want was included: local travel books, magazines & maps, hot tea, games & books and shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/hairdryer. Breakfast was a treat and Jeanette was so friendly & responsive. Will definitely return.

Jeanette was absolutely wonderful during visit even though I’d a short one. We arrived a little late but she had info ready for us to check into our room. She checked with us later in the evening to make sure everything was good and give us information about breakfast. We had a wonderful conversation with at breakfast. Do definitely recommend staying there and would stay again when I am in the area.

Clean and close to beach and food

Our time at the Franklin Hotel was amazing, the room was clean, updated and in an amazing location and the host was very timely with responses and more than friendly! we will absolutely be staying there again!

Excellent old fashion motel. It was quaint with a nice waterfront. Enjoyed the rustic beach for a quick dip. The TV was excellent. Derek, allowed me to check in early and addressed any issues I had. I had a great stay. I would recommend this especially if you’re traveling solo.

Our room was so cozy! Everything was immaculate. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We had the breakfast buffet in the morning and everything was delicious! The view was gorgeous! Close drive to the main area of Gloucester! We will definitely be back!!!!

Lovely property; clean and convenient, also love the historical flavor. Good job. I do not want the lower comment to reflect badly on your service. It is merely something you should be aware of. I did have problems this morning getting my luggage down the stairs. I could have fallen from lack of support. Someone placed Christmas decorations over the entire banister, thus making it impossible to use the banister for support. I have a bad back and depend on the support of banisters. Please wrap Christmas wreaths more loosely and leave room to actually use banister.

The staff at blue Iris were friendly and inviting. Our room was very clean and looked just like the photos. The location was perfect. A short walk from the ferry, near all the restaurants, shops and local attractions. There was an added bonus of complementary bicycles, which we used to explore the island.
