Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Martigues

We felt right at home here, we parked our car and took the bus 35 mins in to Aix which was super easy and a lot less stress than parking in the city. The washer in the unit was so handy after 3 weeks of travel. The neighbourhood is a little remote if you want to spend a lot of time in the city, but it suited us fine as we wanted to do day trips with our car. We just bought home our croissants for breakfast the next day and rewarded them in the oven! Host was so lovely and welcoming and was readily available from their place behind the apartment.

The apartment has breathtaking views. The interior is perfectly clean, matches the photos and the bedding is good quality. The residence is secure, with a gate, which is a big asset when you come by car. The place is peaceful and the neighbors we met are very friendly. Hadrien is great and always available if you have any questions. We did not test the public transport. By car, the apartment is 13 minutes from the Calanque de Sormiou, 15 minutes from the Old Port and the Ferris Wheel (Borely). The stay was perfect, no negative points, apartment to book without a second thought. Perfect stay.

Long and pleasant stay in a simple and basic apartment, very quiet, very bright. Super well located, 5 minutes from the metro, and the Dome, very easy access with the plus: possibility to park your car in the closed residence. Very good communication with Delphine, always attentive, who accepted us with our two cats!

Great stay at Sébastien's. The apartment is very comfortable, and the view is stunning, even more beautiful than in the photos. The location is ideal if you want to be quiet and next to the center and beaches. The residence's swimming pool was very nice, and it's never crowded, I was even able to swim there alone at lunchtime. I recommend it and will return on a future stay.

Thierry and his wife are extremely kind! Their accommodation is very well located in a beautiful environment. Nothing was missing, really well equipped and there's plenty of dishes. On the comfort side, the place is quiet, the beds are very good, a real haven of tranquility! You can come without a second thought!

The view is tirelessly magical, every window is a painting! The garden of cypresses and olive trees is full of small nooks and crannies: the swimming pool cleaned twice a week, with games, mattresses and umbrellas, a ping pong table with all the equipment, a petanque field equipped with an incredible sunset over the mountains that extend to the sea, a second outdoor meal table sheltered from the olive trees… Because of this wild environment, the property is quite difficult to access, the arrival is by mountain roads in two directions but can be made by only one car at a time, a hit to take! It is an authentic AirBnb: the house is not intended for rent but is inhabited year-round by its owners who are staying in an annex during the summer. So there is everything you need, but the services remain quite simple (low wifi, no laundry detergent or dryer, no spare bed linen or towel, rough towels...) and the house is not suitable for small children (no possibility of an umbrella bed, terrace without railings, no swing as indicated in the listing...). There are 3 double beds, the other beds are extra beds. Finally, given the level of service announced, a small welcome attention would have been appreciated...

Exceptional holiday home in a private location and well situated for exploring Provence. The house has everything for a larger group or family and we wanted for nothing during our stay. The pool was fabulous and the enclosed and secure gardens such a bonus. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Thank you Vincent for your frequent communication. The house surpassed the pictures many times over and we felt very comfortable! We would be very happy to come again and would also love a return visit! We had three wonderful weeks at Aline and Stephane's villa with our children and grandchildren. The property is beautiful, spacious (grounds and building), pleasant, comfortable, very secluded on the top of a hill and with all the amenities and many recreational amenities: beautiful swimming pool, outdoor ping pong, playground (pétanque, soccer, badminton, trampoline...), exercise room, games room (billiards, foosball...) and recent TVs in the living room and in the bedrooms. Aline and Stephane are very friendly and caring. They fully deserve their designation as superhosts. In summary, we loved our stay.

Our stay was very nice with beautiful weather. The terrace and different shaded areas offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. We regretted that the listing did not specify that Jérôme or his family could occupy the floor during our presence which can impair privacy. A minimum of storage space in the bedrooms would bring better comfort and allow you to open your suitcase. We would like to thank Jérôme's parents who live nearby and who were particularly pleasant and generous by offering us vegetables from their garden.

We had a lovely time at Anthony's place. The neighborhood is very quiet, the house is super functional. The kitchen is very well equipped, nothing is missing for those who want to cook good meals. The bedding is very good, no complaints about the bedrooms or the 2 bathrooms. Swimming pool, barbecue, outdoor area with second refrigerator: great! Really great stay for 6 adults at Anthony's who is very responsive and friendly. A beautiful place in Arles.
