House vacation rentals in Marske-by-the-Sea

What a fantastic stay we had! Lee was super helpful and patient when we needed to adjust the dates of our stay not once, but twice. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable, and the kitchen extremely well-equipped with everything we needed for self catering. It was great to have a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. The projector in the lounge was a fabulous, fun addition (my 10 year old watched a lot of YouTube on it...) and it was great to have a regular TV in the kitchen too. Of course, the highlight for us was the hot tub and swim spa -- absolutely outstanding, lovely and warm on arrival (and again, spotlessly clean). Our kids are 12 and 10 and LOVED the swim spa pool. The hot tub is incredible, and my husband and I enjoyed that as the sun was setting (the lights around the garden fence are lovely). The variety of bubble/jet settings were great. Having Lidl, Aldi, and Iceland a 3 minute walk away was very handy, and the big Morrisons is just a few minutes' drive.

Lovely, cozy little place in a nice, peaceful location with convenient walking access to Whitby via the Cinder Trail, and a very short drive from local Supermarket. We appreciated the pool. We also enjoyed ducks wandering around the site, and hearing the hoot of an owl in the evening.

Fantastic weekend was had with 11 adults and 2 dogs, everyone was very happy. The house was beautiful with everything you will need and more! The evenings in the garden were a dream. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Absolutely beautiful house!! EVERYTHING that you could possibly need for a few days away! We had 4 generations there to celebrate my 60th birthday and everything was perfect!! We’ve only been left a few hours and the grandchildren are asking when can we go again?? We would all love to return in the future!!

We had a lovely stay at this annex. We had pretty much everything we could need. The snacks and wine were a nice touch. The annex was clean and well-presented. It was a bit cold in the annex but there was a heater and an electric blanket in the bed.

Had a wonderful stay at Joan’s. It really did feel like a home from home. It was spotless and had everything we needed. Loved the garden. For arriving on the fridge there was milk and a good supply of tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits. It was ideally situated for visiting our family near by and visiting Beamish. We wouldn’t hesitate in coming back .

Had a lovely stay at Roberts place. It was spotless throughout and had a really cozy modern feel. Really comfortable furniture and beds. Had everything we needed. Highly recommend. Cheers again Jonny

A beautiful, cosy cottage in a lovely location about 30-40 minutes walk to the beach. Everything matched description and the bed was extremely comfortable. Pam was an amazing host and we would happily stay again.

what a great place to hold our first family reunion. our host Victoria was very accommodating with respect to change of check in time and always responded quickly to questions. The property was ideally placed for walking round the local area and there is so much to do within a short drive. The train station was within walking distance for our party members who don't drive so no problem for them. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience with Victorias place. Top Marks.

Thanks to Sarah for letting us stay. The place is so convenient for the beach and it was such a treat to have a house to retreat back to. Great communication from the host (we needed assistance working the heating). We hope to come back again!

Lorna's place provided a great base for our week in Whitby. Right next to the viaduct with Whitby just a 15/20 minute walk away. Great views of the Abbey and the Esk valley. Lorna was responsive and pro active in communication and answered any questions we had.

Adham’s property was perfect for the one night we spent in Durham. Really easy to access the city, easy to find and great communication from Adham. Thank you - we’ll be back

We loved everything about our stay! The house was spotless and so welcoming and cosy. I stayed here with my grandad to see family and everything was accessible for him. The host was friendly and keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were sad to leave and already can’t wait to come back!!

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

Suited us great! Lovely roof terrace for the sunshine and easily walkable to Stockton. Would stay again.

We stayed at Virginia House as it was close to a local wedding venue. The house was lovely, very homely, modern but with lots of character and very well appointed with everything we could have possibly wanted. It was perfect for our adult family getting ready for the wedding and relaxing the day after. We had a refreshing walk and then a delicious meal at the local pub and the locals were all very friendly. We would all recommend Karen’s property and would love to stay again.

My friend and I with our two dogs felt immediately at home. The house was spotless, smelt amazing and had every amenity we could have hoped for. Jamie was very responsive to any communication, his instructions for entry, wifi, and descriptions of the local area were spot on. We had an amazing week and would be very happy to return. We stayed for two nights in this lovely house. Full of quirky decorations from various parts of the world. The host rang us not long after check in to check we were all okay. Central location for what we needed. Will definitely book again
