Vacation rentals with a pool in Marco de Canaveses

The house is fantastic, with plenty of space inside, as well as outside. Spectacular pool, my daughters loved it. Orchard with a variety of fruit trees, from which we can harvest and enjoy. We loved our stay here. The house has three levels the entry level has two bedrooms and baths, the next level two more bedrooms and a bath, and the lower level the kitchen and living area, as well as access to the patio. We were traveling with friends and the various levels of the house allowed us space, while the lower level provided a cozy gathering spot for enjoying our time together. We loved the character of the place and incredible views of the Duoro River. The location also worked well for our explorations of the Duoro Valley. When we were there were some heavy storms, since the lower level is built into the stone there was some weeping of the walls, but it didn’t impact our ability to just enjoy the space. Despite the rain, we loved waking up and going out to the patio to enjoy the views. Fresh oranges from the garden offered us wonderful homemade juice. Definitely a place we would recommend to friends or family.

Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

Quinta da Lameira was one of the best estates we've found in the last 10 years. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children and the farm showed that it had all the potential for a few days well spent. The house is very functional, well-equipped and bright. The living room and kitchen, in open space, allowed the whole group to be in constant contact and the children had space to play. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The 3 suites were comfortable and the bunk bed room was perfect for the 4 children. It was the first house we stayed in where everything worked smoothly, from the hot water, heating, the electrical panel. The outside is very pleasant, even though it was in December, we just couldn't enjoy the pool. But even so, S. Pedro helped and, especially the children, managed to play on the slide and in the toy house. And we managed to have a barbecue. I believe a summer stay on this farm is amazing.

We stayed at Casa Da Torre for 7 days and loved it. The place is spacious, private, and peaceful, with great views over the Douro River. It is a great base for exploring the Duoro River valley. Marta was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Great hosting, José was very responsive and flexible on schedules. The house was very clean with all the necessities. I recommend it.

The best and most beautiful airbnb i‘ve ever been. Such a beautiful house with very nice interior design. A giant outdoor space. Perfect place to relax and Tiago was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back!

We had a great time at Maria’s house. It was beautiful and we loved the view. The patio and pool in the back were great and we loved the lemon tree and the herb garden. Maria dropped off extra coffee and arranged a cab for us. We would definitely stay there again.
