Hillside Holiday Home

BernieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
we had a wonderful stay at this quirky house. Toni was there as we arrived and explained everything and was only too happy to help and suggest places to go. Steep steps at back of house leading to parking and garden. Kitchen impressive full of all mode cons and the little extras of milk, tea and some food was very thoughtfull. Everything clean and tidy and cupboards full of board games which we really enjoyed. The only downfall was a party in the club across the road not ideal with a small baby.

★ LUXURIOUS & NEW | in the heart of Donegal Town ★

KarenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The four of us stayed at Whitehorse for 3 nights in early May. Spotless, fully renovated home. We absolutely loved it! Steps away from Aldi (which is only closed on Easter and Christmas). Easy walk to Donegal Castle, Walsh Butchers on Main, the Eske River, Abbey Graveyard . 5 minute walk to the River Bank Trail. Pubs and restaurants are everywhere. The hot water system took a while to figure out. The regulator switch is in the main floor laundry room and should be turned on ahead of showering. Showers would benefit from a soap dish. I would recommend ear plugs as the street noise travels to bedrooms although we didn’t notice it on main floor. 2 of the 3 bedrooms were quite large. Used the washer&dryer once, both worked well. Didn’t use the coffee machine, kitchen oven nor the coal fireplace. We would happily stay at White Horse again.

Cheerful 3 bedroom townhouse -Enniskillen -

CarolineRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We never met the host as all check in/out procedures were efficient, quick and no need to meet anyone. Trevor was kind to accommodate us by allowing us to check in early as we had an early wedding function to attend. The house was only 4 minutes drive from the Killyhevlin hotel and on a straight road. Large Tesco nearby and petrol station if you needed it. It was also equally near toEnniskillen town to go out at night and for a walk down the river. Taxi’s were easy to call via phone and there were plenty of tourist leaflets in the hall with ideas of local things to do. The house was clean, tidy and had modern amenities including a dishwasher. Private parking on a drive so no need to look for parking spaces. It was great to hire a house to ourselves (3 adults) with privacy to come and go as we pleased with no noise from other guests, as you might have in a hotel. We recommend this house for up to 5 people and would book again if we return to Enniskillen.
