Great place to stay. We travelled by car and the location is convenient for us travelling to the attractions nearby. The house itself is a piece of history itself , very spacious and you feel travelling back in time. Host is super friendly and explains everything in detail how to use the facility. Highly recommend if you are after a special place to stay :)

Perfect stay - 100% recommend! We wish we could have stayed more as the place felt very homey. Anshang was very responsive and prepared a lot of brochures to help us prepare our visits on Shodoshima.

It is a waste of space for two people to stay together.It was a cold season, but there was air conditioning and a gas stove in each room, so I could stay warm.It was cold to wash my body, but the open-air bath was great.
