Fantastic house for our family weekend away! Very clean and bathrooms were both lovely and modern Comfortable beds and linen was clean and well presented. Owen was amazing to deal with. Very responsive and friendly and went the extra mile for us Highly recommend

If you have small children this is the perfect place to stay. Andrea could not have provided anything more - everything we could possibly need was thought of. Location is brilliant, close to the beach and about 20-30 mins from everywhere we went. We would 100% come and stay again. One of the most family-friendly places we've been in. Thank you!

This is a fantastic place for the family to spend the holiday. It is immaculate and big, which suits a family's special occasion. We love the place, especially our kids, who enjoyed the swimming and spa pools. Not only that, but it is so close to the beach for swimming and surfing. There is a local park and soccer field that we usually walk to play or exercise. Lisa is a friendly host who responds promptly if we need help. This is one of the best holiday homes available in the area, and we would love to return there. It is very secure and private for us visitors. We extended our visit for another day as we all enjoyed and loved the place and the area. There were 10 of us altogether, and it was worth the money we paid, and I highly recommend this place. The home was beautiful. Perfect spot next to the beach and well equipped for our little ones, especially when they just wanted to pop down to the beach. Our hosts were very responsive and gave very clear instructions. Bonus was the extra linen and sheets available. Was the perfect little holiday away!

This is really a haven place for family. Ms Jessica was really a great and helpful host. The family really enjoyed our stay. Our dad, brother and cousins had a great time because the place was very near to their fishing spot. Dairy were just the corner walking distance which was really convenient. Overall this place is really homey, peaceful and stress free. Indeed you can say its a HOME. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay and approving our reservation plus allowing extra person which is our nephew. 🙏🏻

Natasha’s home is a wee gem just 5minutes drive from Matakana town centre. It is so well equipped - from sports equipment, wellness centre, beach gear to the kitchen. The hot tub, sauna and ice bath were superb. We booked for a midweek relaxation break and it delivered exactly that. We are avid ice bath lovers and it was nice to find an overnight escape that catered for the wellness type escape that we were after. Thank you :)

One of the most beautiful place to stay near Whangarei, with a fabulous view. The house was cozy and felt like home. My family enjoyed it. Would loveee to come back for more. 🤗 Sarah is one of the finest host we have ever come across. A lovely place! I had been experiencing some stress recently, so this was a great place to come to unwind. I thrashed it out on the nearby Mt Manaia- handy being in the area! Recommended. Plus shops etc not to far away by car. Comfy bed, clean, and just generally awesome. I should have read the place name properly/ used my common sense....couldn't go kayaking because of the tide (was low in the late afternoon and morning)- my fault for not figuring that out!! Just have to come back then 😉 Thanks guys, awesome place.

Great value for money in a good location. We didn't have the best weather so the Scrabble and Netflix came in handy. Lovely big clean bathroom and well equipped kitchen, it was just unfortunate the dishwasher was broken while we were there but it wasn't a biggie. Would recommend as a central location for day-tripping in the region.

Lil's house was perfect for our winter getaway. It was cosy and warm, we loved the winter douvet. The place is bigger than on the photos and there is even a washing machine and dryer what was handy after our hike. Lil was very nice and recommended us places to go and see. Would come back again! :)

Leanne was a wonderful host; excellent with communication and very helpful. The accomodation has a stunning view and is beautifully kept - comfortable, clean and just right for our stay (a two-nighter). The location was excellent; close to the city which has wonderful restaurants - of note The Quay. Highly recommended.

I really loved this unit. It felt very comfortable and had everything I needed. I liked the fact that it was old school style like my childhood. Felt relaxed as soon as I walked in and everything was very clean and tidy. The view was great and I was able to walk down the steps right in front of the shared lawn to the beach down below. I was also able to walk to a local restaurant just a short distance away across the road. Very practical. I’d happily stay here again. It’s nice they had some books etc there, but I kept myself so busy walking and taking photos and visiting the area that I didn’t even get to look at my own! My plan had been to read and relax there, but I really enjoyed traveling around discovering the area. I went to Ruakaka beach for a walk, then went over to the Bream Head region and its bays. I had a look around in Whangarei and went to the Hundertwasser art museum. Thanks for a great stay!🌸

Loved our short stay at Julie’s place. It was well equipped and comfortable. Julie had provided a few tasty treats along with a light breakfast.

That view! Amazing. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the view and go over to Tiritiri Matangi for the day. What an amazing place. Loads of space, everything we needed, and so many windows to enjoy the incredible view. Couldn't fault it. Mark was amazing. Highly recommend!

Thanks so much for a great stay! The lady on site was so lovely and welcoming and accommodating. The best location with everything you could need or want at arms reach! My little dog loved zooming around the yard and surrounding parks/beach. Can’t wait to come back!

Very friendly, very tidy well looked after property

We loved our stay at Gay’s pool suite. The decorations were so charming, the gardens lush, the pool so fun right outside. And Gay made a bunch of garden games available to our kids which was awesome. Everything we needed was there. It was a lovely stay.

Linda is a very responsive and helpful host and the place is very comfortable and well-equipped. Lots of little extras made us feel right at home.

Fabulous hosts, lovely accommodation. We stayed for three nights, and all loved it including our puppy. If we didn't have to be back home for things, we would've extended our stay by a couple more nights. I'm sure we will be back again though. Thanks for the lovely stay

My family and I really love Lorraine’s dream home,everything is perfect, far beyond my expectations.The location is the best, it’s just a stone’s throw away from the beach, and there are lots of lovely bistros and a great supermarket here, you can get all the things you need.
