Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Malheur County

Tina was great as a hostess. She was very helpful. The home while older was very clean and everything very well decorated and had a feeling of "being home". She was concerned about me getting in since it was late at night...it felt like she cared. It is out in the country, north of Parma. The area is a farming area and feels great...like being away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We had such a lovely stay at this charming cottage in Wilder, Idaho! The hosts were incredibly friendly and always quick to respond to any questions we had, making our stay even more enjoyable. They were also super helpful when we accidentally got locked out, which we really appreciated. The cottage itself was very clean, and all the amenities were super useful, it really made us feel right at home. While the cottage is a bit small, it was perfect for our stay, and we loved the cozy atmosphere. We even channeled our inner children by trying out the trampoline and swingset on the property it was fun! I'd recommend keeping it to 3 people at a time because of the limited space, but it’s totally manageable for that. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to visit again soon!

We ended up having something come up and weren’t able to stay after all, but Alissa was incredibly patient and understanding. She stayed up to make sure we were able to reach out to her if we needed anything. Gave us clear instructions and was nothing but understanding. Would 100% book again if she’d have us!

This home was perfect for our needs.

We had a such a good time renting this house for extended family to gather. The main floor layout is excellent for a group, with a large dining space, lots of living room seating, and an open kitchen well stocked with plenty of dishes. We enjoyed the fireplace, and the smart tv for casting media from our phones. I loved the quiet office area (with 2 computer monitors supplied) when I needed to do Zoom meetings. The neighborhood was extremely quiet. There is no on street parking, but the garage holds 3 cars, and the driveway another 3 if necessary. The owner supplied one garage door opener. The owner was helpful and friendly, and accomodating of my uncertain schedule, and added an extra day when I needed it at the end. This is a 3 bedroom house. There is an in-suite master on the main floor, and 2 additional bedrooms upstairs. There is also a main floor office, with a sofa bed and glass french doors. In the upstairs landing/family room area, there is another set of bunkbeds.

Great place to stay and friendly and responsive hosts! Just be aware the house is on the corner of a main road and there are train tracks approx 2 blocks away. So if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. This would not stop me again from booking. Hosts were great!

The house was very clean and well decorated. Accommodated 8 family members plus baby very well. Spacious kitchen, living areas and bedrooms. We especially enjoyed quiet country setting on the river. Grandsons fished everyday!! Would definitely come back if we are visiting family in area.
