Vacation rentals with lake access in Makkum

Had a very nice stay. Everything present and good communication.

We stayed in the accommodation for a week with six people and it was one of the best Airbnbs we've all ever stayed at. The place is just as beautiful as the pictures, everything is sparkling clean and the amenities are excellent. The location is of course also a dream - both the terrace in front of the entrance door and the one behind the house have a beautiful view and you can lie wonderfully by the water and relax. The trampoline with sea views is also a highlight:) The communication was great: super fast, very friendly and we got all the information in detail in advance. This property has really thought of everything and we can definitely recommend it! Only if you are afraid of spiders, you should possibly think again, because in the evening there were really a lot of larger spiders on the house. But here, too, everything has been thought of, there are numerous fly screens and if you pay attention when ventilating, you still have a spider-free house:)

One tanning house, small and cozy, with a large garden where you can choose sun or shade. Very quiet location, close to bicycle and hiking junctions. De Weerribben Nature Park is just a stone's throw away. Swimming pool Tolhekken is also recommended.

A very friendly welcome in a nice quiet Frisian village. Living in a well-kept old Frisian house, close to the water, has very much liked. Those looking for relaxation are in good hands in Grou.

Very nice location, very close to the city center. Important to note is that there is no parking space for the car. 500 meters away is a free parking space. We didn't think this was a problem. First drop off the luggage and then take the car to the parking lot, went well (one-way traffic). The cottage is modern and cozy and equipped with every comfort! Train station and bus stop are nearby to explore the further surroundings with public transportation. In the garden, there is a shed where you can store your own/rented bicycles. It is a quiet area and yet close to the city center! Wonderful place and definitely recommended.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived in a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was easy. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next fall. We had a great time in this beautiful house right on the water! The location is simply fantastic – you can look directly at the water from every room. The house is very modern, stylish and designed with a lot of love for detail. The kitchen has a lot of kitchen appliances and spices. In general, nothing was missing. A small note for those with pollen allergies: There is a lot of nature in the area, which is beautiful – but it is advisable to have allergy medication with you if you are sensitive. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the house!

We had a wonderful stay in Dronrijp. The house is very comfortable for 8 guests. The kitchen is well equipped. We would have loved to take advantage of the outside terraces, but the weather didn't cooperate. Great location for participating in the Fiets Elfstedentocht. It was a great stay in a very nice AirBnB! It’s spacious, has a nice view with a nice bbq opportunity. The surrounding has lots to do and everything was walkable. Our group had a blast. Thank you so much for the great stay.

Check-in was straightforward and all the important information was super prepared. The highlight is the view over the water and the terrace, from which you can directly access the lake via a ladder. We were already there for the second time and would be happy to come back.

The apartment was exactly as in the pictures. Good stuff, everything clean and fresh. Beautiful bright apartment. Host Jurgen is great! Super friendly, quickly accessible and flexible. Highly recommended.

First of all, Alex, Liz and their parents are really very warm and caring for their guests. They can be reached at any time. Thanks to their hospitality, we immediately felt like we were on vacation. The apartment is very nice and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped and sunny for breakfast and starting a beautiful day. The garden is beautiful and there are plenty of small discreet corners where you can sit. It was an enchanting break and we hope to return.

We had a really nice stay with great views and a cozy, private balcony with evening sun. The decor is very tasteful and modern, the apartment is clean and well-maintained, the hosts are very friendly and make really delicious ice cream 😉 We will be happy to come back!

Jan-Warner's apartment in one word: great! A bright, light-flooded, tasteful, modern, furnished apartment. Of course, everything was clean and functional. For example, we have never found such a well-equipped kitchen in a vacation apartment. The whole apartment is furnished with a sense of detail. But the location surpasses everything! Right on the Sneeker Meer, on the corner of Princess Margret Canal and Starter Eiland. And in the apartment or on the terrace, an unobstructed view of the colorful hustle and bustle of the sailing and motor boats, as well as the commercial shipping. Even in bad weather, it was never boring with this view. Beautiful tours through the Frisian villages and lakes are possible by bike in the immediate vicinity. Sneek itself is just 15-20 minutes by bike.

The contact with Tamara was flawless, she responded quickly and was flexible. The place was great! We felt very comfortable. The kitchen was super equipped and you were super fast on the beach. I highly recommend the place!

The place is very nice and clean. We were very pleased with everything. Above all, the dike and the lock are just a few steps away, as is the old town of Makkum. We will certainly be back.

We had a perfect stay. Richard welcomes us with great enthusiasm and a wonderful little dog who also comes to give you a festive welcome 🥰 Regarding the environment, it was simply beautiful, whether around (lake, beach, promenade, nice little village) or the land around the cottage. There's no better place to recharge your batteries in nature in an exceptional setting. (A small boat is available for the more adventurous;) ) As far as the accommodation is concerned, there was nothing to say about the cleanliness, faithful to the photos except that we expected to have two separate bedrooms. There were indeed two large beds, however one of them would be on the mezzanine (so open room). Other than that, we loved our stay and will be back! Don't hesitate if you need a short stay in nature (only 40 minutes from Amsterdam)

Absolutely a highlight! What a lovely home with lots of privacy, well appointed kitchen with good stuff and lovely beds. Beautiful boat rented and sauna on the water was really great!
