Beachfront vacation rentals in Magnetic Island

Coming up from Brisbane were were worried about the humidity in February so we looked for a beach house that would have a sea breeze. The Beach House at Saunders Beach certainly worked for us. The property was as described and looked exactly like the photos. The property was very clean and had everything you need to just move in and relax. It was a very quiet area. The house has a massive outdoor area which is a must in FNQ. Brandi was very response to requests and her instructions were clear. Great follow up to make sure our arrival was easy and simple check out instructions. We will certainly stay here on our next visit to Townsville.

We couldn't have asked for a more GLORIOUS place to spend a month! Laura is a fabulous host and her beach house is beautiful. It has everything you need. The perfect place to relax and unwind. The ocean views are breathtaking! Toolakea is by far one of the best beaches in Townsville and it's right on your doorstep. In the afternoons we enjoyed sitting on the beach enjoying a glass of wine. It's a great spot for fishing. We even caught a 45cm Grunter right in front of the house which we ate for dinner! It was fun watching the adorable kangaroos and wallabies every night out the windows. We loved every minute of our stay and would 100% return to "our happy place" anytime! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, even if you're Townsville locals like us, looking for a staycation! Absolute beachfront paradise!

Ally gave clear instructions and any questions we had were answered very quickly. The apartment is on the strand but in a quieter area. Restaurants are all nearby and the beach straight across the road. We were very happy with the apartment and area it is situated in. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone that was looking for a place to stay in that area.

Louise was a very responsive host, communication was excellent. The pod coffee machine was a fantastic touch and the bed was super comfortable. We were able to cook our own meals in the little kitchenette using the air fryer. Close to everything you need whilst on holiday. My only gripe which is not the fault of the host was the constant fire alarm testing and calls over the speaker to move cars with the first one at 6.30am, then at 7am and then testing on and off throughout the morning. Again not the fault of the host but just what comes with staying in a hotel complex.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This house is truly incredible, modern, stylish and immaculate. Dacha is a divinely relaxing space with a very beautiful outlook. The plunge pool is so relaxing with the most incredible view. I was so impressed by how quiet and peaceful the house is and how private it felt. The decor is stunning and a lot of care has been taken to ensure the space is stylish and relaxing. The host is very responsive and kind, made everything a breeze. As an individual, a couple or a large group this house is an excellent place to stay. Magnetic Island is one of the most relaxing and beautiful places on the planet and Dacha is the most divine place to stay to experience the magic of "Maggie" Highly, highly, highly recommend. Just book it, you will LOVE IT!

This place is a real beauty. Very well maintained, very well equipped and right on the Strand. There are a few sets of stairs though, so no good for people not able to climb them. Fantastic location.

We loved our stay at Darryls place. It was conveniently located on the Strand with BEAUTIFUL views. Darryl helped organize a surprise birthday decoration in the room just prior to arrival and was more than happy to assist. Not knowing that there was AirBnB apartments in the Aquarius we usually stay with the Hotel Company however this was a much more homely feel. Fantastic!

Great spot to stay, close to the strand and airport. Clean and tidy, good size unit for families to stay.

Apartment was as advertised, the corner apartments at each end of the building are more spacious than the rest of the rooms on that level, so that is a bonus. Great view of the Strand and the ocean.

We had a great time at Kerrie’s place. It had everything we needed and more little touches to make our stay more comfortable. The location was great, right on the seafront but very quiet at the back of the building.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Susan’s. She had thought of everything in terms of kitchen utensils etc. Her house was sunny & all the windows looked out onto ferns It was comfortable & clean & peaceful. Plus & very short walk to the beautiful beach. We are now planning our return to Maggie

Pretty magnificent view of the Coral sea! Felt like we were in an apartment floating in the ocean.

Lovely and quirky apartment, very close to the beach and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable. Lisa was a great host and I would recommend this as a great place to stay.

What a great location to access everything The Strand has to offer. The apartment is conveniently stocked with tea and coffee and small items that were much appreciated after a late night arrival, as well as recommendations and guides of the area. The 4 adults in our party were all very happy to stay here.

Julie is an extremely nice host. Very friendly, she checked on us multiple time after we arrived to make sure we had everything we need. We also forgot a personal belonging once we left and Julie promptly answered us and personally looked for it. She really cares about her guests. The place matched pictures and description. It was clean and equipped with everything you need for a stay. Amazing view over beach and Magnetic Island. We would highly recommend!

Great location! Units are older but clean and walking distance to cafe and parks! Great stay for a family and we were able to check in early! Would stay again! Thank you

Eileen's unit was clean and spacious with all the amenities you need. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, cafes, the beach and the ferry terminal. A lovely place to stay.
