Family-friendly vacation rentals in Madrid

We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable bed, cozy feel and great location - even had a Holy Week procession go down the alley! Unique experience. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Gave us a great overview of Madrid neighborhoods so we felt very comfortable walking out to explore. Thank you! I would stay here again!

We stayed for a week at this wonderful apartment, and I couldn’t recommend it more. Diego was so communicative and helpful, the apartment was exactly as advertised (beautiful!), and the location was perfect. I would recommend this to anyone, but it was great for our family of 4. I’d stay here again any time.

So this was great. The location was perfect for us. The area was less touristy. Realize there are tourist everywhere in Madrid. But way more locals than tourist. What we try to find. We love walking and 15K steps a day don’t bother us. But there are close metro stops if walking is an issue. Mind you, it an old building. But we love that. The apartment is totally updated and modern. Great showers and hot water. Because the building is old it’s very quiet. There is a pretty popular restaurant right underneath it. Never heard a thing. I would stay here again if coming back to Madrid. Recommend highly.

This three bedroom apartment is In an excellent location and a very good place to stay for families. For our family of 5, that meant mom and dad in the main bedroom, two kids in the bunk beds in the second bedroom, and grandma in the third bedroom with a single bed. The kitchen dining area and living room are also adequate, with a washer for clothes and a large drying rack which we were able to open in the entry foyer to dry. The bathrooms and finishes are luxurious and high-end which is a nice touch. The apartment is walkable to several metro stops; we used Tirsa Molina and Sol the most. Also easy access to plaza mayor, a grocery store, pharmacy, and the tapas scene. The only reason not to stay here would be if going up and down a couple flights of antique, non-uniform steps will be a problem for anyone in your party. Per our stay and other reviews, I would not expect for the elevator to be in service. I also would not want to sleep more than 5 in the apartment.

Great location located right inside Plaza Mayor. It’s just steps to restaurants, shopping and site seeing. Place was nice and lots of space and best of all quiet. It’s on the 3rd floor but has a elevator. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is super located has metro and train a few steps away. The apartment is very well managed. Three rooms with their heater each. Two full bathrooms makes it very comfortable. The kitchen is small but functional. Having a washing machine helps a lot if you go in traveler mode you need to reuse. She had the detail in leaving us coffee capsules and cookies. I definitely recommend it and I would come back.

Great stay at Antonio’s property! Check in was great - he even showed us where local grocery stores, restaurants, and the nearest bus and metro stops could be found. He also let us check in early as we were on a morning flight and let us leave our luggage in the apartment after check out as we were departing in the evening. The three bedroom apartment had everything we needed, including a washer, iron, electric kettle, smart tv and dishwasher. It even included an outdoor clothesline to dry our clothes. The location was terrific for visiting Madrid - only a short 10 minute walk from the Cuatro Caminos or Alvarado Metro stations. The nearest grocery stores were also only a 5 minute walk away. He arranged for a paid reserved parking spot for us at the garage next door for the first three days, which was very convenient. The beds were also comfortable. We’d definitely stay again!

The place is quite good, definitely better than the photos show, super comfortable, close to the San Blas station and a supermarket for shopping. Ivan was very flexible with check-in and very kind, I would definitely stay at this place again, we had a great time, thank you!

The location is ideal, close to everything: metro, bus, taxi, in the city center. No need for transportation to reach Gran Vía, Plaza Mayor or the Prado Museum, everything is within walking distance! The accommodation is very clean, tidy, and perfectly equipped — you'll find everything you need in the kitchen. Carmen was very responsive and available to answer any questions we had. I will come back without hesitation. Thanks again!

The apartment was very nice and centrally located, the host was very nice. Small things could have been more optimal, but on the whole a nice stay in Madrid.

My family and I had a great time in Madrid ! The apartment is beautiful and in a great location. We really enjoyed to go back to a nicely decorated and clean apartment after a long day. I liked that extra bed sheets were bagged to keep them clean ( there was no need to used them but nice to see that the host cares to keep things clean). The closets had extra bed sheets, pillows and towels. I have to mention that the iron was in a great condition! ( no water leaking). The host is attentive to give all information needed. I really recommend Elegant Justicia apartment !

Had a great stay at Vittorio's flat. The checkin went nicely. the location is great (lots of thrift shops if you like that). Plenty of local restaurants. We had a small clog in the shower, I contacted Vittorio and they responded quickly and had it fixed within a few hours! Would highly recommend.

Great location. A reasonable walk to all the main tourist destinations yet the area especially Malpenas still felt very Spanish. Lots of interesting bars etc.The road itself is a pedestrianised smart shopping street but a minutes away are lots of interesting vibrant cafes etc. The apartment is very clean and comfortable.

7-day stay in Madrid in April in Olga's apartment. The apartment is great and functional, there is everything to feel good there. This apartment is well located in a friendly area with all the necessary shops nearby. In addition, access to the city center is very easy thanks to a metro station next door. I would highly recommend this apartment and we will be sure to come back next time we stay in Madrid.

Excelent house. Very close to everything. we had a group of 9 and it was plenty of space.

We had a short stay in Madrid and Laura's apartment absolutely perfect. The self-checking was easy and the instructions were very well written by the host, and once at home we found the flat perfectly clean and we'll stocked we everything you need (wifi, towels, hair dryer, shower gel, etc...even toothbrush and toothpaste). The neighborhood is La Latina, which is buzzing with eateries and locals enjoying a stroll or a drink out. It's a strategic location as it is a few minutes walk from the Metro, the market and generally you can easily walk to the center of town in 10-15 minutes and to many of the city's hotspots in 15-30 minutes. We really recommend it and it's perfectly suited for two friends as there is a master bedroom but also a single bedroom.

An absolutely stunning apartment within walking distance of great shops, travel links, and beautiful architecture. We were a group of 2 families consisting of 2 adults and 3 children. The apartment was the perfect size. One of the children uses a wheelchair and the lift made life so much easier. Clara is a great host, very responsive. Lots of information provided about local things to do and see. The fresh fruit and milk in the fridge were a great addition after a late arrival and in need of a coffee. Madrid is one of the most charming cities I have visited. The locals were so helpful and patient whilst we used our sparse Spanish and Google translate. I can't recommend Madrid or this apartment highly enough.
