Great toys and books to entertain our children. Jennifer was very responsive and accommodated our special requests with incredible hospitality and generosity. Fairview is an absolute gem! This circa 1867 historic home provided the perfect setting for our family Christmas. The charm and character of the house made us feel completely at home, and the accommodations were nothing short of perfect for our entire family. The thoughtful welcome treats and fresh flowers were such a warm and special touch that made us feel instantly at ease. The home was clean and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed to pull off a wonderful Christmas dinner. The kitchen had all the essentials, making it so much easier to prepare and enjoy our meal together. The spectacular mountain views added a peaceful backdrop, and the resident peacock was a delightful surprise, bringing laughs and joy to our grandchildren. If you’re looking for a place that combines history, beauty, and comfort, Fairview is the perfect choice. We’ll cherish the memories we made here and hope to return someday!

Stayed at Lazy Acres while in Lexington to run the Chessie Marathon. Everything was perfect from the house to the views. The hosts were friendly and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the space and the amenities. Thanks for letting us enjoy your beautiful space.

We have stayed at Glen’s property for the past four years. It is an annual tradition we will maintain for so many reasons: amenities, location, and charm.

This place was wonderful! The air bnb is a very beautiful, unique and fun historical home! Janeen was very accommodating and very responsive! The air bnb is stocked with everything you could possibly need! The back porch over looking the river was my favorite spot! Very peaceful and serene! I loved this place and would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful home for our weekend stay. Drive down the gravel road to another time. This is certainly a well loved home. We found it not to be as clean as we would hope. A few spiders/webs, nothing more troublesome than that. There are 3 bedrooms, but of them are connected by a door. You have to walk through one to get to another. Not a big deal for our family get together, but certainly not ideal. We didn’t catch ourselves using the hot tub because it’s awkwardly close to another persons living space on the property and the one time we tried to use it, it was being used by another group (first come first serve hot tub). Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. Fresh flowers and cookies in the fridge were greatly appreciated. Beautiful landscapes just outside the window with cows and horses (who were all super friendly!). The peacock said hello briefly. Winery down the road was stunning! Thanks, Jennifer, for hosting our much needed recharge.

My family and I enjoyed our short time at Robins home. The view was stunning. We even had a little snow on our arrival and that made it magical. The house was so clean and the beds were so comfortable. We had everything we needed to make a nice dinner for our family. The outdoor area and fire pit were perfect for a chilly evening. Robin was such a wonderful and welcoming host. We are looking forward to our next visit to Lexington in the near future!

The Old Parsonage is fabulous. So many unique details- art, antique furniture and vintage items. The setting is so picturesque- even in winter. Anne left the best breakfast fixings we’ve ever seen in an Airbnb. Fresh eggs, 3 kinds of juice, milk, half and half, sausage and bacon, bread, cereal, yogurt- and more! Highly recommend. Hope to return again and enjoy the house and area during another season.

Chris and Paichat were wonderful and very communicative! The air b n b was comfortable and perfect for our weekend stay! Would recommend to anyone staying in central Virginia!

We stayed here for a month during a transition. It was over the holidays and Danielle was so kind to decorate everything for Christmas! We loved staying at her place!

Great place to get away and enjoy nature while having modern comforts! This place exceeded my expectations. Loved the holiday decorations and the personal touches that made it feel like home. Notes: They have a hard water softener, which makes the water taste metallic, so bring bottled water or a water filter. Also, it is secluded from major stores, so be sure to bring all your supplies with you.

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location—soapstone cottage is a completely redesigned home with gorgeous interiors—all the linens and window coverings, furniture—are brand new and make for a wonderful vacation. We spent a beautiful Christmas here—6 of us—very comfortably!! We cooked huge meals and played games at the 2 large tables…went on hikes—ohhhh wow the sunsets!! Renee has thought of everything even down to the toiletries you might have forgotten! The hikes and pathways were wonderful… We just walked out the door and each day took our dog on beautiful hikes. We even took a day trip to Charlottesville, which was a fun diversion. Thanks for sharing your home with us Renee! We truly enjoyed our time together in your home!

What a great find! Especially great value for a big group. Wide, clean spaces and easy, private access. The hosts were easy to reach and timely with help when needed. The surrounding area has cute shops and places to eat. Had a great weekend getaway!

Breathtaking location perfect for a private getaway. You will not believe how beautiful the area is until you see it! The house itself is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Worth the trip! We would love to return

the most peaceful place I have been at so far!!! loved waking up to the waterfall every morning and drinking coffee next to it.

Beautiful location. Room for several family members. Nice pool, deck, fire pits and chairs. Very peaceful and beautiful scenery. Expect to see deer playing in the field. I will say, if you’re a light sleeper you will hear every single board creak with any movement. The only couch is also in the basement, so no room to comfortably sit inside and visit. Plenty of wooden chairs at the dinning table, just not as comfy.

This was my second stay here, and I would be happy to use it again on a future visit!
