Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Madison County

It couldn’t have been a more ideal weekend! This is truly a house you’d love to call your own. We spent our daughter’s wedding weekend in Athens here, and we can’t express enough how wonderful the home, the grounds, and our host, Margaret, were. We’re already excited about coming back for football season. We’re so thrilled to have discovered this hidden treasure!

Fit our needs perfectly as a family! Den had a lot of space to gather. Kitchen was just like being home. Overall had a peaceful and comfortable stay!

A great place for getting together and relaxing with friends. The host and accomodations were first rate. To us it was quiet, private and beautiful. Everything we could have hoped for. If the Willow house doesn't make you feel comfortable and at home...no place will.. would recommend it 100 percent to any of our family and friends... absolutely worth the money. This home was fantastic. Can house large groups and conducive to outdoor lounging or having a cozy weekend inside. Really enjoyed the proximity to downtown areas, and how comfortable it was. Highly recommend!

This place is wonderful. It's peaceful and relaxing. The home is comfortable and squeaky clean. It's a great place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Ashley is great to work with. Very responsive. I brought my 2 dogs with me. They enjoyed the large yard.

This was the perfect stay for my family while our son was attending a UGA swim camp! It was clean, spacious, and had all the necessary kitchen accessories! John was super friendly and responsive. Perfect little side yard for our dog too. :) Less than a 10 minute drive to downtown and to UGA. We would absolutely stay here again!

We were in town for a week to prepare and celebrate our daughter’s wedding! The place was perfect for our bride to get ready with her friends! With some family still in town the next day it was a great gathering spot for a casual pizza night! Everyone raved about the space and surroundings!

I loved the location of the Bobbin Mill cottage. Everything was so peaceful and quiet (except for those crazy Cardinal birds - LOL!). The unit was spacious and mostly sparkling clean. The bed was so comfortable. It was good to have the two wall heaters that worked so well, since it got a little chilly on a couple of the nights of my stay. I truly appreciated the responsiveness of the people with MPM Vacation Rentals who worked with me to make it possible to check-in a little early, and then quickly refunded my early check-in fee when it turned out I couldn't get to the property until after the standard check-in time. I enjoyed the two large TVs, even though the internet service through the eero Wi-Fi device was a bit spotty. It went down numerous times during my stay. Some other suggestions I might have for the host is to stock the kitchen with more non-perishable conveniences (like coffee creamers and sweeteners) and to do some repairs on weather stripping on the front door. Our family LOVED staying at Deborah's Apartment in Anderson. Our boys had a GREAT time fishing. The community was very peaceful and everyone we met was very welcoming. The apartment was clean, adorable and had everything we needed for our stay in Anderson. The view was also AMAZING! We would definitely visit again.

The place is wonderful and feels new, actually I think it is. Everything was clean and well maintained. The layout of the apartment was really good. The only thing I think should be changed is the checkout time; 10:00 am is really early, maybe 12:00 pm will be a better time. Also, to have a Publix so close is wonderful. Jess was an absolutely fantastic and amazing host. She gave us suggestions on things for our dog who has bad anxiety and events that took place while we were there. We came for a family reunion and got everything we needed to wind down on their peaceful property. Walter was a gem too. We automatically looked for him when we left and came back. He’s an addition adorable fur host as well. We will definitely rebook this property each time we are in the surrounding areas. You definitely will find this a rare jewel in the area!! 🫶🫶🫶🫶

Clean and easy to check in. Very comfortable beds! Very very responsive host! We had an issue that was not any fault of theirs and they went over and above to help remedy it.

If you appreciate rustic history this is the place for you. The updating and modernization was just enough to be completely comfortable but also appreciate how old the house was that we were staying in. Yvonne was great and stayed in contact with us in case we had an issue finding the property (which we did not), and even had some bread from a local bakery waiting for us. The place was close enough town to enjoy all that Athens has to offer but also be able to enjoy the quiet Georgia countryside.

This place is a gem. We loved the peaceful atmosphere on the lake and played lots of board games and cooked a ton in their amazing kitchen. Their coffee game is on point with multiple ways to brew. Highly recommend this spot.

We had a perfectly relaxing few days at Apple Pie right after the craziness of Christmas! The house was spacious, just as described/pictured, and well-appointed. We lacked for nothing during our stay and the owners were great at communication...extremely responsive and helpful, and all check-in, check-out, and informational info was communicated efficiently and thoroughly. We also enjoyed all the extras...hot tub, spa space, etc. It was just a wonderful stay from start to finish!

Love this little cabin! I stay here on work trips all throughout the summer; it is a wonderful alternative to the typical hotels. Quiet and remote, and always clean.
