Places to stay in Macungie

We loved our stay here for a girls weekend. It was spacious and great just to hang at the house. Quick ride over to Jim Thorpe downtown which was very nice to walk around and pop into shops and restaurants.

Older house but very comfortable. Two bedrooms upstairs are railroad so you will have to walk through one to get to the other. One bathroom but it's nice and well stocked. Nice views into the farms and valleys. Only issue we had was one of my friends was afraid of the old house noises from the wind. Great for families or a few friends looking for a low key place to stay

Cozy, nice place to stay near Jim Thorpe! Overall we loved our stay. The place was clean and cozy, perfect for a family or small group. We loved the hot tub to relax, kitchen/living room space to spend time together, and convenient washer/dryer. The twin beds upstairs are better for children - the mattresses were not super comfortable, and the beds were a bit cramped, being so close to the sloped attic ceiling. The upstairs space would have been perfect for older kids to have their own, tucked-away play area. You may want to bring additional glassware (or plasticware) and towels. There were coffee mugs and glasses for one meal for ~5 people, but we were constantly washing them to use again. No shotglasses, in case you will need those. The house is st4ocked with many towels for the hot tub and shower (some tucked away in corners - keep looking!), but I found they would get soaked from one use because they were so thin.

Linda was an amazing host, very responsive and helpful. The property was fantastic, very beautiful lake and the house was full of amenities. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful. The weather wasn't great so we didn't really get to enjoy the backyard. We did enjoy the fireplace and the basement theater. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The master bedroom was spacious and comfy. The host was very responsive and flexible with check out. We would definitely recommend staying here and hopefully we can come back to enjoy the outside area!!

Perfect location for our family of 4 to stay during a wedding in the area

We stayed at Sebastian's place for a short weekend trip for the running festival in Jim Thorpe with family. The house if very clean and easily accessible. Near town and other amenities. Plenty of things to do around the area. We ended up being a little bit late check out due to a whitewater rafting trip and Sebastian was very understanding. We had an amazing time at this place and definitely well come back! Thank you

This place is lovely! Upon walking in it smelled so clean and space was tidy and uncluttered. Kitchen was well stocked with a variety of appliances and cookware. View is spectacular! The only con I will list is the distance between the villa and the hosts home, as they are in close proximity. While my personal preference is a stay that feels more private, It did not affect the quality of my time there.
