Apartment vacation rentals in Lyngdal Municipality

A great place to not only get to know southern Norway, but to live. The apartment offers everything you need, is very clean and is quietly located on a headland. It is also barrier-free, which was one of the reasons I chose this specific apartment. You step out of the apartment, sit down on a white garden chair and look at the fjord. It's so quiet that I could hear a car door slamming on the other side of the shore. My daughter and her friend found their place down at the fjord. They were allowed to take chairs from our place and had a wonderful place for their conversations. The town of Mandal with its shops is not far, but it is recommended to have your own car or a bicycle (bikes and e-bikes can be rented in Mandal at Sport 1). Mandal is a small place that has one or two picturesque streets. But there are also supermarkets, restaurants and snacks there.

Very nice, small apartment with everything you need. Balcony, garden and views are a special plus. We were very satisfied and can only recommend the apartment! Also spontaneously on the same day of booking we were able to check in very easily and had no problems! Thanks for the beautiful, albeit short stay.

Elisabeth's apartment is exactly as described. It is modernly decorated and you feel at home. The view of the harbor is wonderful. Parking was also not an issue. Elisabeth was available at all times and responded quickly to messages. However, the house is extremely poorly soundproofed, so that in addition to the normal noises from above, which also do not disturb any further, the subwoofer is also extremely clearly audible. We would choose the place again at any time.

Me and my family stayed here for one week. We had our kids (5 and 6months) with us. No problem staying here with a baby. Large bedroom, and a good sleeping couch/bed in the living room. Automatic outdoors sunscreen which keeps a nice cool in the appartement on the hottest days. Free parking outside. Kitchen with everything you need, clean and new appartment. Apple TV, and wifi is great with kids. Also possible to sit outside and enjoy the evening sun. Easy to communicate with the friendly hosts. Located 1min walk from grocery store, and 5min to town, is perfect. About 15min walk to the beach. Stayed here for the quality and location and we could not be happier. Highly recommended, and we’ll have no problem staying here again. Great value, and a true superhost.

Great big apartment in the immediate vicinity of the sea and city center. Everything one could need and very children friendly.

a **** **accommodation! Located in the middle of the old town of the white wooden houses of Mandal, but inside modern, super clean and very cozy, plus a great terrace to sit outside. Knut is a perfect host, communication was great and check in/out via the lockbox easy and flexible. We were only there for one night, but you can also spend a longer time there very well. Only our Labrador had trouble with the very steep stairs to the 1st floor when it went down. We would definitely come back !

Laila was an amazing host! So friendly, welcoming, helpful, and responsive. The guest house is lovely, private, and perfect for hanging out with friends and family. Plus, the neighborhood is a gorgeous place to walk and explore. Would definitely come back!

Family with 2 little ones. Practical apartment with large bedrooms in the city center. Short distance to the grocery store, and plus for bed linen and towels in place, parking, as well as a playground nearby. Jørgen was very nice, responded quickly, and was flexible. Great for a weekend in Mandal.

Sigrun's small basement apartment was a gem in the middle of Southern Norway. Lovely drive both to and from. Sigrun is a wonderful host who was both welcoming and helpful. We felt at home immediately! She also gave us tips on driving route to Stavanger which is absolutely beautiful! We will definitely be back!

I booked this location on a whim as the local hotels didn’t have any availability for my duration of stay. From the booking process to checkout, my experience was excellent. Nermin is a great host, and very friendly. He was able to give me a tour of the town including the local restaurants and sightseeing locations, and was extremely responsive to any messages or questions that I sent. I would highly recommend that anyone traveling to Mandal stay here. The apartment itself is very cozy and clean, but has everything you need including a full kitchen and a washing machine should you need to do laundry. The entire town is very walkable and bikable too which is wonderful.

The apartment was just as expected. The bathroom is not larger than it needs to be. Good parking just outside the door. Short distance to Lindesnes lighthouse.

Like grandma's house when I was a kid. Grandma is very welcoming. The holiday home is clean and spotless. The sleeping space is private and safe. Highly recommended.

The apartment is located in the middle of a fantastic wooden house settlement. The apartment is normally equipped, on the terrace you can lie in the sun from noon and the beach is just a stone's throw away. Here you can go on vacation as the Norwegians do - sun and sea. We enjoyed the time away from everything.

This place was in a great location for visiting Mandal. The bathroom is very large and functional. The organization of the living room is quite surprising, sincewe're not sure which bed to take... But it's still very pretty and comfortable! Thanks for the listing! 😊
