Comfortable house with everything we needed. The parking really only suits a small car, so it was a tight fit. Appreciate the 11am checkout time.

We stayed at Karl’s place and had a wonderful time. The home has a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere, and the hosts were incredibly friendly. They also have the most adorable cat! There are beautiful villages nearby—like Clovelly, Lynton, and Lynmouth—all within easy driving distance. The setting is calm and homely, with the lovely sound of birds singing all around. Upon our arrival, the hosts warmly welcomed us with biscuits, local butter, milk, and other thoughtful touches—it was much appreciated.Thank you so much.

This was our second stay here, and we loved it just as much as the first time! Sarah and David’s thoughtful touches—like the Prosecco, milk, crisps, and biscuits—made us feel so welcome. The welcome booklet with local recommendations was super helpful, and we really appreciated the care that’s clearly gone into making the place feel special. We especially enjoyed the hike up to Raddon Top—it was well worth it for the views. The surrounding landscape is stunning and so so peaceful. The log burner made the place feel so cozy, and having playing cards there was a lovely bonus for chilled nights in and at the pub down the road. Sarah was always quick to respond to any questions. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Roger and Bindy made our stay at Mill Cottage like a 5 star hotel. They had kindly stocked the kitchen with food, wine, tea and coffee for our stay incase we didn’t get to a shop on the way. The cottage also had a wood fire that had been prepped for our arrival that worked beautifully in the evening during our film. There a good amount of card and board games as well as huge baths in each bathroom. Everything worked and was clean. There was also a helpful file with lots of info about the surrounding area and roger and bindy were so polite and welcoming upon arrival. We managed a walk on our final morning to the beautiful fields surrounding the cottage and were blown away by the views. Could not recommend this cottage more to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the beautiful countryside. Thank you very much Roger and Bindy for making our stay so wonderful!
