Cottage vacation rentals in Lowestoft

Had a lovely stay a great host very responsive, clean and tidy cottage , exactly what we expected and had hoped for , for a quiet and cosy weekend break. Couldn’t ask for more.

The family had a lovely break here, a short drive from Norwich Showground where we attended an event but far enough away for peace and quiet… lovely walks… excellent pub Kings Arms local for dinner. Everything needed was in the lodge including a very appreciated ‘welcome pack’ to start us off on arrival. Highly recommend and hope to return again.

Was isolated and total bliss. The main bed was luxurious. There has been a refurb so everything is new. The hot tub was a fantastic way to end the day too. We did lots of walking and the surrounding area was perfect for us. Also perfect for our dog Molly. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Lesleys place. Very near to the sea and close to all beeches we wanted to visit. The cottage had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the jaccuzzi. The cottage is dog friendly and had all things our 4 month old Labrador puppy needed.

We spent a lovely extended weekend at the barn visiting our family in Norfolk. The barn was clean, warm and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Jill and Phil were friendly and welcoming and check-in and check-out were easy. The super-king sized bed was comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus after a busy couple of days with the grandchildren.

We had an ideal extended family getaway at Emily's. The house and gardens suited our mutil-generational group well. The kids loved the trampoline and swing and the space to run around and the adults loved the outside seating space and hot tub 😊 Would definitely recommend.

The property was in superb condition, spotless and immaculately clean and presented. All fixtures and fittings were of great quality and there was a lovely welcome pack to greet us, containing local cakes, biscuits and so forth. We met Cindy and her husband Mark when they came to service the hot tub and they are delightful people. We spent time chatting during which they recommended restaurants, one of which we used (Buckinghamshire Arms) where we enjoyed Sunday lunch. Overall, a great experience, top notch Airbnb.

Very comfortable, spacious and well equipped cottage with lovely surroundings. Dog friendly too. Great to see such well cared for and happy hens wandering around too.

Just as it's pictured, weather was kind and made the house even more inviting. I was wowed when we pulled up the drive! I did have to check that I had booked somewhere with a secure garden and was pleasantly surprised once we turned up and saw the gardens, low fences but held in 3 springy Frenchies with no issues. Everything you need and more. Lots of lovely villages to visit. Dog walks on the doorstep. Already looking at when we can book again. Even considering hiring a boat too. Liz was great with instructions and local information. Highly recommend the Thatch cottage.

A beautiful cottage in the perfect location. 20-30 mins from every major place you could want to go. Cosy and homely with a lovely sunny garden. Private and secure, a real Norfolk countryside stay! We loved our stay, everything we needed was provided and Scott gave us all the information we needed to allow easy check in. We can’t wait to come back again, hopefully for longer next time. Thanks so much!

House was really nice, the surroundings were lovely and the area was really quiet! Chloe was very accommodating when problems occurred she responded very quickly and tried to resolve them fast. Overall, quite a nice stay aside from some small issues!

Just loved everything about this little place. The property was spacious yet cosy. Everything anyone could need was provided and parking just outside the door was so convenient.

Lovely little find, we only stayed two nights but wish it was longer, very peaceful with only the sounds of waves from behind the cottage, loved walking out the back gate to the veiw of the sea! Lots of outside seating and very cosy beds and sofa, Christine was a great host and very quick to respond to messages and helpful, would love to stay again, camt wait for the next stay! Advice, No shops near so get your essentials before heading in to the area.

A beautiful house in a lovely tranquil setting. There were a few bumped heads, due to low doorways (and in spite of many warnings!) but I would thoroughly recommend Meadow Cottage as a well-located base for a break in a Suffolk. We appreciated being able to check out a couple of hours late as we had a lunch appointment close by.

Fab cottage perfect location for exploring the area . Great gastronomy pub 2 minutes walk . Lovely friendly village great parking facilities outside the property or allocated parking. We would definitely be booking again in fact I have booked for my parents.

Kates place is a beautiful little cottage, Kate gave clear instructions on where this was. check in and check out was smooth, although you are right next door to Kate you are left in peace. The breakfast basket is a beautiful and very helpful touch, even spare shampoo and body wash in bathrooms! leaflets for local attractions and days out, takeaway menus also- very helpful! The cottage is hygienic, all bedding and main areas were clean, some slight dust on skirting boards and cobwebs around (but I am a cleaner and probably pay far too much attention- even on holiday 🤦‍♀️) beds and sofas are super comfortable! peaceful and overall a beautiful place to stay! Will definitely use again when visiting in the future 😀

We had a lovely time at Heron Cottage. The house is charming and has everything you need to feel at home.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location: opposite the pub and just down from the community run village shop. The cottage was beautifully clean and had everything we needed, and more! As mentioned in other reviews, a couple of the doorways are quite low and I bumped my head a few times - I'm 5' 10". If you're of a certain age and need to visit the bathroom during the night, you may like to know that it's downstairs! It was my wife's first visit to the Broads and we'll definitely be coming back soon!

My partner and I stayed here for Christmas and we had the best time. We were greeted on arrival by Feri and when we entered the cottage it was spotless and had everything we needed. Feri and Steve were very friendly and attentive and responded quickly if we had any questions. Would highly recommend visiting here and we will gladly book again soon.

Such a gorgeous little seaside cottage. Had everything you need and in such a great location. Very short walk to beach and all the shops & pubs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Em was so informative and helpful. 5*! Xxx

We had a very relaxing and restorative couple of days at Rodrigue and Claire’s lovely cottage. It is quiet, with many walks around, and a beautiful garden to discover bit by bit. You will find all you need if you fancy cooking, alternatively many excellent pubs and restaurants are within 4 min walk- 10 min drive. We left super-charged and will certainly come back. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the cottage was spacious and pristine The surrounding area was beautiful and calming. My sons loved the animals onsite, especially my youngest son ( 3 years old) who insisted on buying carrots and apples daily to feed the alpacas, goats and the donkeys - but his favourite was the white pony We will definitely be returning next year with family :)
