A beautiful lodge in the Essex countryside. Private but easy to get to, with everything in you'd need for a weekend getaway and a lovely village nearby. Hosts were great at messaging with clear instructions and were friendly and approachable. The Lodge felt cosy the moment you walked in!

Wentworth Lodge

MartinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed at Wentworth Lodge for three nights as we were using it as a base for exploring the local area and house hunting. Jean had provided all of the information needed to find the cabin and gain access. The cabin was in a lovely peaceful location and was very well equipped and presented. Jean came over to greet us and was very friendly and informative. We very much look forward to returning again as we had such a wonderful time.

Stunning barn conversion

SusanRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We (2 adults and a nine-year old) had a great short stay at Melissa’s barn. It was very cosy, beautifully decorated (with great attention to detail), and Melissa was a friendly and responsive, but un-intrusive , host. The hot tub was a particular highlight and we enjoyed the wild-life friendly garden very much too. We had not realised how pretty and interesting the surrounding villages were in advance, but very much enjoyed discovering Constable-country (Flatford in particular). In all, a lovely place for a few peaceful days away.

Lovely stay! Our third time staying with Kirsty and Matt and won’t be the last. Lots of places in both walking distance and in the car. We love the little touches they give us. We can’t recommend them enough. Everytime we visit Yarmouth we stay there.

Ultimate serene getaway

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We stayed at Jeremiah’s holiday home for 2 nights to have a last minute end of adventure by the sea. It was perfect for what we needed. Being half term the activity passes you need to buy to access pool were quite expensive at £16.95 each for 3 days, but my son loved it. Jeremiah’s instructions were clear and he was very responsive and friendly. The Parkdean staff are also very helpful and the general park is well kept. The caravan was spotless, very cosy and peaceful. The perfect end to the half term.
