Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lower Saxony

We had a lovely weekend at the apartment! For a weekend trip where it's more about shared, sociable time than big things to do!

We had a very nice and quiet stay with six adults and a dog at the property. The wooden house is really very nice, new and well equipped. We particularly liked the open kitchen and the living room, as well as the small private garden. The surrounding area is a residential area with no great opportunities for activities. This was more than suitable for us, as we wanted to spend time together. Smaller walks are possible, the public transport connection to Hanover is ok. The shopping directly across the street probably still closed until the end of 2025, so it makes sense to use a car for shopping in the next town. The house is quite audible due to its construction, which is no problem if all guests have a similar sleeping rhythm;) Overall, we had a great stay and everything met our expectations!

It was a nice stay, the apartment is superbly furnished, clean and has everything you need. I can only recommend the apartment and its hosts! :)

We only stayed a short night in the house, but felt very comfortable. The house offers everything you need for a short stay. I could also imagine staying there longer, it was nice and cozy and nothing was missing. Especially with children, this place makes sense, because there are many toys in the house and also outside there is the possibility to play. Communication was excellent, it couldn't get any better, check-in and check-out also worked out great and was extremely flexible. Thank you for a great stay.

We enjoyed Getelo very much. If you love nature and are looking for peace and quiet, you're in the right place. Also the surrounding places, you are directly in Holland, e.g. the Künstlerstatt Ootmaarsum was a real highlight and a recommendation from Joop. The space is our absolute recommendation.

We only used the place to sleep for a long ride, but we were very satisfied. The place is a little hidden, so I was groping on the arrival communication, but the peace was absolutely divine. The outdoor shades ensured a great night's sleep.

We had a short stay in the small but nice house. Yes, it looks bigger in the photos, but it has everything you need. The house was clean and we felt right at home. Ideal for a small family as a short trip, for a longer stay it might be a bit small but otherwise we can't complain ☺️

This was a perfect place to stay for our family with 3 children. The private (massive) garden was exactly what we needed to ensure our kids could still play without having to be too quiet, such as it is in most apartments. There were plenty of toys and a playground as a bonus. The host was wonderful and friendly, always checking on our needs and responding to our requests. One minor issue is that the kitchen doesn't have hot water so you need to get warm water from the bathroom for doing dishes. For staying in the summer, this place is ideal and we'd happily go back!

The apartment exactly met our expectations. We liked very much that the apartment is very well connected to the public transport network. We arrived by car and were able to park right in front of the apartment. A big thank you to Frauke Hinz.

it was absolutely positive cultural experience to visit a german upper class (or, well, upper end of middle class) house. Built to last hundreds of years, everything is rock-solid, well designed. no compromise for wellbeing and quality. The whole upper floor of the Bernd's private house has a lot of space . One only bedroom is as big as two rooms flat in soviet blockhouse. Then the living room is even bigger. Absolute peace and quiet . The only thing to consider: stearway to the apartment in the first floor is pretty steep. Bernd's and his wife's house is very warm, despite a chilly cold wind sometimes. I adored very warm, some 30 C, bathroom's floor. Will visit again by occasion!!!

Great solution for Hannover fair visitors who are trying to avoid local hotels during that time of the year.

We are very satisfied. The unit is one small , comfortable and luxurious jewel . Clean and furnished with all the necessities room and kitchen . I recommend !

A beautiful apartment. With our three children we had lots of space. Although you live in the middle of Eimsbüttel, you don't hear anything. Great location, very nice neighborhood and quick access to U2 and buses. The style of the apartment is great and there are so many toys and also books especially for children of all ages that you really don't have to take anything with you. You feel right at home!

Chauntelle is a fantastic host and her apartment in Paderborn is unique, historic and well appointed. Would definitely recommend.

The stay was really sparkling clean and Lycien was really friendly. Beautiful views and really relaxed due to the silence of the area. In addition, a perfect location, everything is close by, supermarkets, etc. Also plenty of culture to see. We will definitely come back, what a nice place to stay and everything was perfectly arranged.

We were there for an extended weekend. The apartment was just beautiful and sparkling clean. The location is great, all shops are within walking distance, as are the train station. Nevertheless, it is very quiet. The communication with Maria was straightforward and great. I'd love to come back ;-)))))

It was so beautiful at Sarah and David's place. The place is fantastically beautiful, extremely tastefully decorated and the view is out of this world! We felt very comfortable and would definitely come back! Thank you very much!

This apartment was absolutely amazing. Everything is of the highest standard, with a modern and beautiful design. The beds are very comfortable and on the kitchen you will find everything you will need for making food. The area where the apartment is located is peaceful and clean. Check-in was also very smooth — even though we arrived late at midnight, the host kindly met us in person, explained everything we needed to know, and even gave us helpful tips on what to visit. We are very pleased with our experience and highly recommend staying here!

i have never had such a super equipped apartment. There was really everything from coffee machines (including fully automatic machine incl. Coffee beans!), teas, via cold drinks in the fridge to the nice welcome chocolate. There are board games, shower gel dispensers, so really everything. the apartment was nicely decorated. Really, it couldn't be better. Thank you so much
