First Cottage

First Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Great location (very quiet), clean, everything you could need and very homely. Janice was a great host and all instructions were clear. Great holiday, good value for money and would definitely recommend. Melanie.

Knott House Farm

PeterRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Knott House Farm is in a wonderful little house. Location wise it is an easy walk in to Keswick and the lake. Many great walks near by, we did Skiddaw which is out the back plus there is a pub over the road which did good evening meals and a cafe at the bottom of the garden which did great breakfasts. All in all very good.

Mountain Cottage - Quirky at it's best

HeatherRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fabulous stay at Will and Giles’s cottage. The cottage is deceivingly big, with plenty of space to relax in the garden and play games. We already can’t wait to book another stay here and explore more of the local area.

Romantic Rural Cosy Cabin with Hot Tub

AimeeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We visited with our dog and stayed in the Smardale Cabin. It was the perfect place for us with everything we could have needed and close local walks, also easy to travel around the area. We found a lot of recommendations through the information Stuart provided and leaflets in the cabin. It was very peaceful and relaxing with the hot tub which can be used at any point as it is constantly heated. We also enjoyed toasting marshmallows using the fire pit (everything you need for it is available to buy in the little shop if you don’t bring your own). We would highly recommend this stay and hope we can return soon!

Corner Cottage, Great Broughton, Cumbria

SusanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cottage is a wonderful place to stay when exploring the Western Lake District and coastline. It’s tucked away in a quiet corner and has a lovely enclosed garden perfect for your furry companion . The cottage itself is surprisingly spacious, comfortable and decorated cosily. Sue was the perfect host and checked in to make sure our elderly parents had the best stay. We shall return again soon !!

Detached cottage/barn, sleeps 16

What a great place to stay! I booked Lynda and Fraser's place for a group celebration with friends and it was the perfect place. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for groups, so many plates, glasses and wine glasses. The dinning table is really big, and we used that a lot. There are three big comfy sofas, perfect for socialising and having a chill. The bedrooms were great, the bunk beds were comfy and again lots of space, with nice views from the windows. There is also a lovely large outdoor table to the side of the property, with a cover over it where we had breakfast. Communication prior to the stay was fantastic. Lynda and Fraser responded to all my questions really quickly and they kindly recommended some walks and pub lunches. The property is in the middle of nowhere, so it is a great place to get away from everything and just relax. The countryside is truly beautiful and great for walks. Would 100% recommend. Thanks Lynda and Fraser.
