What a spot for a vacation! The location was prime and the room itself was well suited for everything you need. This is a hidden gem in the area. Things I appreciated the most: The ocean was steps away for a swim at anytime. The shop keepers and restaurant owners downstairs are great people and pleasant to talk to during your stay. Waffle monkey (breakfast) and Portofino are the best spots for breakfast, fresh seafood, low cost happy hours, and fire show at night during sunset. You can literally walk anywhere in minutes. There is 3 separate door with locks to get to your top floor rental so this spot is very safe! If you are lucky, you'll notice a 5 foot iguana that rests in the trees to your right off the porch, spending days in the trees. Alvaro is the mgmt person who helps you. He speaks great English and responds rapidly to questions. Can't wait to return and bring family. The two units next to each other would be an ideal joint rental for a group of 5-7 people. Highly recommend!!!

Great location, our only wish is that the property would have an elevator. Everything about this condo was exactly as listed, great private beach to anyone that finds this place.

Awesome place to stay! Beautiful view! A short walk to the beach and some local shops - it is a steep hill, but there are stairs. Staff and other guests were extremely helpful and friendly. There was more than enough room for our family of four. When we needed assistance with an air conditioner, Floribeth was quick to respond, and had a repair person there in no time - problem fixed immediately. We were not planning on returning to Costa Rica, but after our stay, we fell in love with the area and people, and can't wait to return. Floribeth gave us precise directions, found it right away. You will not want to leave here. Thank you Floribeth!!

Beautiful home with amazing views. Nice pool looking out to the ocean. Patio above pool was great for sunsets and more. Trail down to the rocky shore. Benches and hammock for realaxing at the cliff side. Private and secure with gate. Would definitely come back. Thank you for a memorable stay! Dimas was the best and very responsive!

Great stay at Andres’s place in Reserva Conchal! The condo has beautiful views, and was well stocked and clean. The pool for the condo complex was perfect for our toddler, and we loved having access to the Beach Club. We would definitely stay here again!

Can't say enough good things about Vanessa's place. This is a great stay for two families with a separate private apartment upstairs and great common room for both families downstairs. Go from pool to beach and back again and the sunsets are unreal. Vanessa is a super host. perfect stay- highly recommended!!!

My husband and I took our first family vacation with our 2.5 year old son, and Pedro's home was the perfect family-friendly location. First, the home itself felt even nicer than shown in the pictures. The home was spotless, spacious, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our toddler was delighted by all of the beach and pool toys on the property, and the pool has a large shallow ledge that made swimming much more accessible to him. The pool was cleaned every morning by the groundskeeper who was very friendly. The property is fully gated, and we felt safe and comfortable knowing that Pedro and his wife lived on the third floor, and the groundskeeper also lived on the property. That said, our stay still felt private. The location and views simply cannot be beat. Each evening, the sun sets directly in front of the property over the ocean. Playa Hermosa as a whole was quiet, calm, and welcoming, and I'd argue that Pedro's home is the best property there.

This was our first time to Costa Rica and it won’t be our last. The villa was well appointed and exactly as described. It had everything we needed for our fam of 5 to feel well settled. Lots to do around the area especially if you rent a car. The A/C was frosty cold, the pool was great to cool off in and the beach is easily accessible. Just book it! You’ll love it.

Sasha's place is perfect! We have stayed there 2 years in a row. We love it because it is so close to the beach and the pool is right outside the condo door! The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals and it was really clean when we arrived!

We had a great stay and enjoyed nearby beach, surfing, yoga, and restaurants.

Our stay at Casa Blanca was everything we could have hoped for. The view and pool were spectacular and taking in the sunsets from the patio was our favourite way to end the day. Highly recommend bringing in Mauricio for a private meal and exploring Marbella for lunch at the Tiki Hut.

The apartment looked better than the pictures. Everything worked great. The people that work at the resort are all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location!. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook. The area is nice and quiet. We can’t wait to comeback!

This place is fantastic! Jennifer truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The A/C was already on when we arrived, which was a great touch, and she even had beach towels ready for all of us.

Casa Mirage was a trip of a lifetime for our family and a lot of it has to do with the host and the staff. The place was exactly as described and more. THe host helped with everything from transportation to food. It's located in a small surf town with cute little coffee shop and a few good restaurants within walking. THe beach is walkable and super clean up to 4 miles and the water is warm and clean. The staff came around daily to clean up yard debris and clean inside. Kimberly was the chef and wow did she outdo herself. Helped us with grocery shopping and made us the best meals i've ever had! Her and her ladies were so kind and skilled. If we could go every year we would!! Thank you so much

The beach house was wonderful - modern and comfortable with views right onto the sea. The location right on the beach is amazing as one can pop out to the beach whenever one feels like it for swimming or surfing. We loved sitting and watching the sea in the late afternoon and listening to the waves at night. The beach house is located in a quiet part of the beach but there is a great restaurant only a couple of minutes walk away if one feels like going out. Maggie the property manager was super friendly and helpful. She met us with the keys upon arrival, showed us around and helped us arrange local day trips during our stay. She really enhanced our experience of staying there. Great place to stay for a relaxing beach vacation! Would happily stay here again if in Samara.

If you are looking for a wonderful condo, in a scenic and relaxing location with access to a little adventure, this is the right place for you. Playa Flamingo is a quiet and beautiful beach with both big and small waves depending on the time of the day. This condo community is also quiet while offering so many amenities. The staff are amazing and you never have to fight for chairs. The salt water pools and beach are just steps away from your condo. Dania is the perfect host. She planned our airport transportation, golf cart rental, surf lessons, fishing charter, and waterfall hike. Everyone was there (even early) when she said they would be. Costs were upfront. Dania really made this the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. Better than an all inclusive in my opinion. Rent a golf cart and easily access restaurants and grocery stores. Food prices are high in the area. We have 2 kids, 12 and 15 years old, and all four of us can't stop talking about what a wonderful vacation we had.

This house is situated on a fantastic, uncrowded beach. It stretches on for long beach walks, the sand is soft, the waves are perfect for boogie boarding, and the water temperature is warm. Each day of our stay we boogied boarded for hours with maybe 15 other people in sight. In the evening there are beautiful sunsets. The outdoor space of the house is great for cooling off in the small pool or relaxing in the hammock. The house is located in a gated community inhabited by tourists, so in order to experience authentic Costa Rican restaurants or culture one must drive to a neighboring town about 15 minutes away. The house itself is as described but be aware no amenities (shampoo) are provided with the exception of small soap discs. The beach itself made our stay wonderful.

This is a fantastic condo, and the location can't be beat. I stayed here with my family (husband, kids ages 4 & 6, and my in-laws) and we all loved it. The beach was right in front, the view spectacular, and we always had the pool to ourselves. We walked to town from the beach (really cute beach town) and drove 5 minutes to Playa Penca and Playa Prieta too. But we thoroughly enjoyed our beach front Playa Potrero too. I highly recommend it! Wolfgang was so accommodating (we booked the day we checked in) and his employee Erwin was incredibly kind and helpful to check us in.

Our stay at Jarrod’s place was incredible! Best vacation house you could ask for. Perfect location right on the beach but still super private. Having a swimming pool right on the ocean is about as good as it gets, we usually spend most of our vacation time at the beach but this house was so great we wound up spending more time by the pool. Also the house is stocked very well, everything an Airbnb/rental house should have this house has. Jarrod was very accommodating and helped us with transportation and Covid testing at the house. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Playa Negra area! We will definitely be coming back!

Kathleen’s place is really beautiful. The views from the decks are amazing. The kitchen was great. Everything you needed. New shiny appliances. Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well in the bedrooms and the main floor was the perfect temp with the ocean breezes. Great showers with plenty of hot water. We loved being right on the beach. It is a big place where we were all able to find our own place to be. The beach is lovely, good waves for boogie boarding and jumping waves. There are kayaks to use which is nice as well. Great restaurants on the beach that you can walk to on the beach. We went to the Beach House and it was delicious! I highly recommend Kathleen’s place!
