Places to stay in Longmire

It was a great experience

We stayed as a group of two families - 4 adults and 5 kids. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dog with us. It rained almost our entire stay, so we weren’t able to do as many Outdoor activities as planned, but it meant we were able to really use all the activities provided in the bunkhouse - puzzle, board games, video games, etc. There is a market, a brewery and a coffee shop all within blocks, so it was super easy to pick up any supplies we forgot. The house is a little dark, we found ourselves wishing for a little more light. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. We did end up purchasing more paper towels and some ziplocks. The double oven was very helpful. Some larger sheet pans would have helped to be able to cook for such a large group, but we just did things in batches. Overall we highly recommend this place and hope to return someday.

Beautiful location, very peaceful. Not recommended if you plan to walk down to the Lake and have any physical disabilities. It’s on the water but down a good grade and about 50 yards down +/-. But all around a beautiful stay.

Nice peaceful, quiet, and relaxing place to stay. Friendly host. Plenty of things to do inside the house with a game room. The WiFi works nicely, and plenty of movie apps on the tv. The coffee bar is a nice addition to the house as well. Neighbors are friendly if and when you see them. If you’re looking for peace, quiet, privacy, with a nice view of the mountains give the Randle retreat a try. I will definitely keep this place on my rotation of places to visit. Thanks again Will. Great stay, no complaints!

Jeaneva's place is a great spot for adventuring in the Packwood area. We spent the weekend at WhitePass snowboarding and the cabin is just 20 min from the ski area. It has a very private feel and an awesome deck for hanging out. The beds are very comfortable and it was very clean. We will definitely be back.

Patt’s place was wonderful, and such a cozy home to return to after hiking! The little notes around the home were super clear- easy check-in, huge comfy bed, easy check out. The heaters totally warmed us up after freezing winter hikes. We loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone visiting Ashford or Ranier. Minutes away from the park entrance, and such a serene, private cabin!

We had an amazing stay! The home is gorgeous and the view is amazing!

This was my second time staying here with my family and it was wonderful. We appreciate how easy everything is and how accommodating Yuliya is. Our lamp went out and within minutes, she was at our site with a replacement battery and even gave us a lamp blue booth speaker so we can enjoy music. She also added a nice touch with adding heaters in the tent which kept us extra warm at night with the fall weather. This is a place we will continue to visit.
