Converted Stone Barn

ReubenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is Amazing. All I can truly say is that the Barn is beautiful and peaceful and that Fred is a Super-host. The Barn is beautiful, very well done conversion and very warm and cosy. The quietness and country side is a complete treat. I recommend this to absolutely everyone. Fred is a fantastic host. He was very responsive and friendly. A wonderful guy. If you’re in doubt….dont be. This is exactly what you need for a little R&R. The 2 dogs were an added bonus and they are very friendly. Love a little play with their toys. We will be back to stay here on our next little getaway.

Beautiful stone cottage close to Centre parcs

KatieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This house was even more amazing than I had hoped! I wanted a cozy, rustic cottage to relax in and feel at home in, and someplace central as a hub for day trips. This cottage was a dream! Everything was so adorable, the photos just can't do it justice. It's very spacious and perfect for a family. The master bedroom has such a beautiful view, I never bothered closing the curtains. We had some extremely cold weather, but we are used to that and it wasn't a worry to us. Maeve was very attentive making sure there was plenty of firewood and even giving us extra heat. She gives you plenty of helpful information about how to use the stoves and local places to eat, and she is always ready with suggestions if you ask. There is a little neighbor kitty that vists that we named Cheeky because she'll try and come inside, but she's very friendly and is happy for some scratches when you are outside. This was a home away from home and I hated to leave!

Quiet, Spacious Lake lodge on Lough Ree

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Chris and Jude's lakehouse is a gem - nestled into beautiful native woodland and with panoramic views over the lake, it is a real refuge for the senses. Judith was lovely to communicate with and anticipated our every need. We were a group of musicians working on a new project, and the house more than provided for all of our needs, especially the vast living/dining area which is much more impressive in real life than on the photos. The bedrooms are large and are all ensuite, and could easily house twice our number. In the evenings we nestled on the comfy couches by the stove, and in the mornings had brisk swims off the private jetty less than 100m from the front door. Ideal for a family, friends' or creative retreat, lots of space, comfort and beauty. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
