Family-friendly vacation rentals in London

On top of genuinely getting what's in the description, which is already pretty decent, and a responsive host ready to adjust checkin and checkout times for my convenience, the showering facilities are worth mentioning. a decent shower pressure and hot water temperature is not guaranteed, so it got my attention. Also, amazing towels! I am sure I will be back.

Vanessa's place was very nice. It was well-organized, and super convenient for me given mix of business and leisure during my trip. There was enough space to do a bit of work, and it had all the ammenities (iincluding a bit of tea and coffee, shampoo/soap and even laundry detergent). She was also very communicative, and quick to clarify anything. Would recommend.

Rich is the best. This place is a gem - you can see Big Ben from one of the bedrooms!! He apparently used to live in the unit, and you can see from everything in the place that it’s been carefully thought through. Nothing is cheap or just meant to be for random Airbnb guests. He beautifully decorated it. He’s also so kind - my flight arrived super early. He arranged early check-in. Also allowed us to leave later so we can finish our online meeting. He generously supplied nespresso coffees, and when we finished what he had stocked and wanted to know where to buy the pods, he offered to order more for us. I love everything about this place. In fact, I would love to buy a unit in this building if one is available :D Book this place. You wont regret the decision!

We had a fantastic stay at this flat in London! The location was absolutely perfect—central and within easy reach of all the major sights, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The flat itself was lovely: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. Our host truly went above and beyond. She welcomed us with snacks and sparkling wine, which was such a treat after a long overnight flight. She also accommodated an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Her local recommendations and tips for things to do in London were incredibly helpful and made our visit even more enjoyable. The neighborhood was charming and full of character, with plenty of cozy pubs, well-stocked grocery stores, and friendly wine shops all just a short walk away. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book again!

Had a great time at Marcus’s place! Check-in was smooth, the apartment was spotless, and the location was perfect, close to all the main attractions in London. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. We’ll definitely book again when we return!

Very comfortable apartment in the heart of Brixton, a trendy neighborhood in south London. Visited with my wife and two young sons. Even though the apartment is small, the queen bed in the master bedroom was perfect for me and my wife and my sons slept very well on the couch in the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was clean and tidy. The metro is a minute walk away which is perfect to explore the city. Overall the experience was excellent and Adrian was an incredible host. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it. Great location - close to public transport, shops, restaurants, grocery, etc. Very clean and spacious. Host and caretaker very quick to respond to questions etc. Thank you for a great place to stay for a wonderful family trip!

Rob was very responsive with clear instructions. The place was as described and there was a hassle free check-in. The location is close to transit and it is easy to get around the city!

We had a fantastic stay at James' place. He met us at the apartment and proceeded to offer all sorts of helpful advice. The apartment was clean and secure and is on a great street in Stoke Newington - lots of shops, restaurants and pubs. I would highly recommend this apartment for a stay in London.

We had a fantastic stay at Dennis's home. The location was perfect — close to good resturants, bars and cafes, and a bus stop 2 mins walk to get to the metro and city — while still being peaceful and relaxing. The house itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and super comfortable. It had everything we needed for a great stay. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in London.

This was a lovely flat in a very convenient location, with a decent amount of space for 4 people. Cleaning and communication were both very guest-forward; Mark was very helpful and responsive in coordinating an early check-in for us. Our only complaint would be it was more like 1.5 bathrooms than 2 bathrooms.

We had a fantastic stay at Sarah’s house, the accommodation was perfect for 5 adults and 3 children and we instantly felt at home. We chose Sarah’s house for its proximity to the start of the London Marathon which was so easy to get to on race day which was great for our runner. We found getting in and out of London very easy with most of the main underground lines being accessible in around half an hour. The view of the city from the front bedroom window was a real treat too, especially at night. Sarah was a fantastic host who was very responsive to any questions we had, we would definitely book here again for our next London Adventure!

I booked France's place for my family to stay over for a week to enjoy London and Sydenham (3 adults). I initially chose her place due to great reviews, good pictures and being close by to where I live - What a fantastic choice! The flat is at a convenient location from the Sydenham station as well as close to local restaurants and shops without being located on a busy road. The bedrooms are spacious and at the back of the house for privacy and peace, which is a huge plus with people waking up at different times a day etc. The overall space and layout is great and functional. The livingroom is absolutely beautiful with big windows, which was something my family enjoyed a lot. Would definitely book again!

Emily’s flat is really nice and cosy ; you feel at home as if you were welcomed by a friend. The house is full of details that make you feel that the house is usually used in every day life by a family. Emilie is also very welcoming . the house is 10 minutes away from King’s Cross / St Pancras by foot. There are quite a lot of stairs in the house, but it was not a problem.

Great house in a perfect location. As described it is so easy to get to The Harry Potter Studios. The bedrooms are all really big and the house was lovely and warm all of the time.

The location of the flat was excellent. Quiet neighborhood with many grocery shops, coffee shops, and restaurants within walking distance. Easy walk to two tube stations and lines, making it convenient to get to a variety of neighborhoods. The flat was a good size, with your basic necessities. It is the top floor (3rd or 4th floor depending on how you count it), so this may be a deciding factor for visitors with luggage. Iris was very responsive about check-in process and other flat-related questions during the stay.

Loved the place. Great with kids that love to play with Lego on the floor. Blackheath is a nice “village” with good restaurant and on the edge of Greenwich park. And the ride to London by train is easy, so the app is conveniently located from all to do’s in London.

Brilliant stay, thoroughly recommend it!

The living room/dining room/kitchen area was so perfect for out group of 4. It was spacious and bright and ideal for hanging out playing cards, eating together or planning our next adventure. With windows out to the patio, there was lots of light and a very pleasant vibe. The apartment in general is quite large and bright feeling. The ceilings are high and the bed rooms are all good-sized. It also nice and quiet despite its ultra urban location. Speaking of the location, you are just 3 minutes walk to the Tube and dozens of restaurants, pubs, shops, etc.

Great stay, had everything we needed

The welcome and contact with Alexandre our host were excellent. Well-located accommodation, very quiet, close to transport (train, metro, bus). Well-designed studio with very good quality materials and very well-equipped. Comfortable and spacious bed that allowed us to recharge our batteries after our days in London…. We will definitely come back, I recommend it!

I am so grateful to have come across this listing. Nick was a great host, super responsive and very thoughtful. He was flexible with my early check-in, given my flight to London arrived earlier than I expected. I am traveling alone, this is my first time in this city. I felt extremely safe and looked after. We stayed in Yolanda’s apartment for a family wedding and it suited us perfectly. The living area is lovely, with outstanding views. The bedrooms are comfortable. There are two bathrooms. The shower in one was not used because we couldn’t seem to control the temperature but this was a small thing. The neighbourhood is great, with lots of bars and restaurants. Recommended if you are fine with climbing stairs.
